We have no chance of winning Saturday or at Detroit without JO, I just don't see it right now. JO will be back on Tuesday vs UIC, so he can play at Detroit.

Instead, the superfriends are suspending the suspension for Senior Night. Then resuming it two days later. All makes perfect sense to me.

Even, if Mike Hunt says that wrong, I'll give him a pass!

That is really strange suspend the suspension for Sr. Night and then reinstate it?

All makes perfect sense to me. Oh my. On one end I didn't like the suspension, but if you're gonna discipline someone, then stand by it. On the other hand, now they're gonna uplift it. Wow, makes me wonder if they really feel as though they made the right decision.

Just for sh#ts and giggles, since it's pretty clear that their RPI ranking will no longer be relevant for Milwaukee this season...
This ROAD LOSS moved Milwaukee's RPI/SOS from 149/215 to 152/212 (6-7, 15-11 vs D-I).
This HOME WIN moved YSU's RPI/SOS from 203/203 to 187/199 (6-7, 12-13 vs D-I).

All makes perfect sense to me. If I was JO, I would first talk to my teammates about it. Pending that discussion, I may sit out the game and tell the admin, mainly Amanda Braun, to "go f- yourself". And yes, I would use those exact words.

Sounds like his family is coming in from NYC to watch him play on Tuesday. This may just be a courtesy since they may have purchased the tickets prior to the incident. I'm glad he's playing Tuesday. He deserves to be recognized on senior night based on his contributions to the team. Everyone makes mistakes and it's good to see the university show a little compassion while still getting the point across that violating team rules won't be tolerated.
In regards to the suspension, it looks like drug related suspensions are much more severe if handed down by the NCAA (1/4 of eligibility is taken away). If the university does not issue an appropriate suspension, they are at risk of a sanction from the NCAA. I think we did a good job of issuing a suspension that is not only fair, but also keeps are hopes for the season alive (even if it significantly hurt our seeding and NCAA tournament chances).

"since they may have purchased the tickets prior to the incident"
I know this is a hypothetical, but if true, this is ridiculous. He should receive as many comp tickets as his family needs if they were to pay for travel all way out here to the Midwest from NY (unless he has relatives in the Midwest, I suppose).
We offer essentially 30,000+ (undergraduate and graduate students) free tickets to every game. But Jordan Aaron's relatives would have to purchase their own tickets? I know more than a few D-I programs that provide anywhere from 2-6 comp tickets for family members of players.
I'm done with this whole suspension debacle. It's just asinine and is a microcosm of our season (oh, we're doing well! We might be a Cinderella! Next day... Ohhh.. We still pretty much suck unless all of our best players are at 100%- and actually on the floor playing).
All we can do is hope for a home game and go berserk in the HLT... Momentum is a helluva a thing. I am actually happy Jordan is going to be playing tomorrow- he might be able to spark that fire... Detroit-Mercy be damned. If we knock off a couple teams in the HLT and either GB or CSU slip up? (or even if they don't)..... Who knows?
I think it's about a 3% chance we've got.... but that's why they play the games. Let's just get back to winning basketball games and put a permanent stop the sloppy uninspired play and coaching, shall we? (Jordan Aaron is a Jekyll/Hyde beast- but he isn't the entire team, we can win with and without him and he will be back for the HLT...)
I hope tomorrow is the start of a resurgence. It truly is our last shot to regain our footing and think of ourselves as contenders and not pretenders... GO PANTHERS.

Strange people are blaiming the AD for the suspension. How about blaiming the coach who recruited the offender? Jeter accepted a commitment from Aaron AFTER he was kicked out of his JC. It was just a matter of time before he found trouble again.

I was referring to the plane tickets, not game tickets. Sorry... should have been more clear.
And GB... don't be bitter because your defense can't stop him. I don't need to justify how big he's been for our team. I would worry more about your team choking again this year if I were you.
