Since 1996 the only tournaments Green Bay has played in have been the CBI twice and CIT once, only advancing past the first round one time. UWM has been to three NCAA Tournaments, two NITs, and a CIB in that time, compiling a 3-3 record in the NCAA Tournament. And if you want to brag about what happened before a great many driving-age Americans were even born, hey, that's your prerogative I guess. Hell, the new year's day babies from 1996 are now eligible to vote, let alone drive. But congrats on beating us three times in our 8-win season, truly remarkable.
Gloating is stupid when you have nothing to back it up. You'd think you just blew us out in the Super Bowl after narrowly winning in overtime in the regular season. And I bet you weren't swaggering like this during the doldrums of the PMCK's final seasons as Head Coach of Hair Gel.

Great game to attend yesterday, but I did leave disappointed ... I didn't see any green sateen jackets in attendance.
At least I was able to escape the arena without Wardle threatening me with a lawsuit. I hear he likes to do that sorta thing.

Why the hell does Rob sit down damn near the whole game. Did he have double knee constructive surgery? It's getting really old! Why does it matter?

Jeeze you GB fans are arrogant pricks. No kidding. I'm glad they seem to think the Resch game will be a breeze. Hopefully their team has the same mentality. I can't wait to see their record by the time this season is all over. They start 3-0 in the conference and suddenly their fans think they're Butler. Hate to break it to you, but It usually takes more than 2 good players to win the HL. That's probably why you lost last season when it mattered and will likely lose again this year.

He's mirroring the fans in the alumni gold section across the way from him who can't be bothered to stand or make any noise unless tshirts are being thrown. Pathetic environment yesterday during huge points in that game. imgur.com/mrpi1V4 this picture is taken coming out of the final timeout of regulation in a tie game. sad. you could hear a pin drop as GB put the ball in play for the final shot before OT. WTF!!

Just a note from a Phoenix fan who isn't an arrogant prick as was stated earlier. Thought the game was fun to watch and like many games there were a lot of runs to include the 1st half when GB jumped out to a lead and then the second when the Panthers took control for a stretch. I thought Milwaukee play well, but at times struggled against what seems to be a much more athletic Phoenix team. Unless I read it incorrectly in the local newspaper, it stated that Coach Jeter did not have a specific play set up for the end of regulation and that they should just take the best shot available. That seemed a bit odd to me.
I do not believe the game in Green Bay will be easy and we look forward to you folks coming to the Resch and making noise like you always do.
And one other thing - thanks for letting others jump on board and make some comments even though we may not be dedicated Panther fans. The Phoenix team might be half way decent this year, but we still don't have a decent fan board like this.

Here's something about which I think we can all agree:
That game deserved a larger audience. A much larger audience.
Tough to lose, but what a fantastic college basketball game!

It was a great game. It is a little upsetting if it's true that Jeter didn't have something drawn up for that final possession. I felt Tiby should have been at the line on the foul that was called on the floor with under a minute left, but the way things were going in the game, even if he made both FTs, GB probably would have come down the floor and canned a three! Just one of those games.
I actually thought there would be more people inside once we walked in and pleasantly noticed the lines at the box office for the walk up crowd.

This is a game we will look back to in March and say DAMN, if we would have finished this game out we'd be the 'Insert Seed Here' instead of ....
Edit* I mean HLT not NCAA here.

As if RPI is worth a damn on January 12th. I'd love to see GB with a 28 RPI in March for a Panther victory at the Resch in the Championship Game, but let's be real and admit that the RPI is about as good at ranking teams on January 12th as a 5-year old throwing lawn darts. For as experienced and knowledgeable as you are about the college basketball landscape, Jimmy, apparently you still have everything to learn about the RPI. Once non-conference play is over, the RPI for teams as an aggregate in a conference is 99% set in stone, which is exactly why you won't see individual conferences move up or down in the conference rankings any longer. It's now the teams that will now be trading positions inside said conferences as they "trade" the "RPI points" they've earned as they play each other. For example, what you see here is going to be almost identical to what you see here in March... warrennolan.com/basketball/2014/conferencerpiClick on any individual conference, however, and the order of the TEAMS (and their RPI rankings) that you see now might be 100% switched around come March. Yet, that conference will still be ranked in the exact same spot amongst the 32 conferences in March. I'm hoping that I don't need to explain to you how that is possible, and why it's relevant. So yes, Gbay might not finish atop the HL, and therefore wouldn't have a great RPI come March. But if they do stay atop the conference, they do have a very good shot at finishing with a Top 50 RPI. BTW, you also sound very biased and hypocritical with your post, considering that if Milwaukee had an RPI in the 20's or 30's after non-conference play was finished (let alone two weeks into the conference season, following a road win at Gbay), you would be singing a much different tune. Yes, a few of these Gbay fans are saying retarded things, but let's rip on and heckle them for all the retarded things they are saying, and not for the one or two reasonable things (which they are now only saying because it benefits them... because when Gbay had crap RPI's for years due to crap OOC scheduling, they sounded like you). So let's not be a hypocrite like them, please.
