Kelm took a chance coming here when he had other options. It's not all his fault that it didn't work out. I will always like and respect Kyle, and I too hope that he has a productive senior year wherever his talents may take him. I'm hoping he stays here.

First of all, prayers for Kyle and his family. God bless. Secondly, I knew we'd get around to this ... They also spoke of how the locker room is divided. One side for Jordan, Harris and Gulley and the others who don't want to play " street ball." Excerpted from The Milwaukee Journal, Dec. 12 1992 A column by Michael Bauman "I never want to imply that the coaching had anything to do with it," (UWM coach Steve) Antrim said. "We bring them in and we let them play."
"They're playin' street-ball," a Badger backer in the crowd kept yelling. "Street-ball! Street-ball!"
No, sir. They're playing Milwaukee basketball, the kind where UWM comes to Madison and wins, because the young men from Milwaukee refuse to accept anything less.
The three seniors (Craig Greene, Marc Mitchell and Ray Perine), and four more players from the Milwaukee area (including Marc Briggs and Eugene Sims), brought it home Saturday. Brought not only victory, but respect and recognition for their program.

It's not something that should be brought up on a message board, but there is an ironclad reason for why Kyle Kelm is having such a rough year. So I would hold off on sandbagging him, he doesn't deserve it. The other guys? I don't know. But what was shared with me about Kelm gives me all I need to know not to cut into the kid. Just reporting what I heard from someone close to him/team. I didn't write half of the stuff that was said at the game about locker room incidents etc. Just tired of all the b.s. excuses about foot injuries and illnesses, sometimes the truth hurts and change is inevitable with the way this regime(Jeter and co.) is heading.

He went from Arkansas to Butler. It's not like Kelm will end up at a better school. We're 3-20. If he goes to just about any other Division 1 school, well, you know.

The die-hards will always understand reality/truth, it's those individuals who casual tag this board and contribute off the wall responses, that is what almost always makes the threads decline down the cliff. We will never be able to change that as long as the internet is an open source system.

Brought not only victory, but respect and recognition for their program. How about: "It's going to take a lot more than that to discourage me," Jeter said. "I've got to get these guys to fight and just do the basic things that we're starting to break away from. We've had some losses; we're starting to get down on ourselves so we're a step slower to balls. "Just get a rebound. Just box a guy out. Just play with some passion." You can fill in the names with the people he's directing this at. (By Todd Rosiak of the Journal Sentinel Feb. 6, 2013)

He went from Arkansas to Butler. It's not like Kelm will end up at a better school. We're 3-20. If he goes to just about any other Division 1 school, well, you know. 5-20, now 6-20. I count D2 games as wins. Maybe I'm not clear on my point. With one year left, do you really want to sit out one whole year, just to play one year at another mid-major school? I guess if he wants to leave, the answer is, yes.

He could stay and end up on the bench playing for a staff that has what on the surface appears to be a rotation that is anyone's guess at times, and spending that time in high school gym. Plus, he could be so miserable that he simply doesn't want to stay.

Not my measure, just what goes in the record books. And as such, I've already begun work on next year's non-league schedule ... Grand Canyon College. Globe University. DeVry Institute. Upper Iowa University. Concordia-St. Paul. Hillsdale College. Does Birmingham-Southern still sponsor a team?

The void of Butler leaving in May made that happen.
