please stop saying the program won a title in 2011 when it won a tie breaker
I can't imagine why a competent AD would have given an extension that year after the way that season ended. Of course we didn't have a competent AD at the time so who knows what would have happened if what happened hadn't happened.

You could say the same about Jeter squandering program momentum. Unlike Brad Stevens, Shaka Smart, Jim Larranega, Mark Few etc.... Well, who are the good players under Jeter who didn't win a title? Ricky Franklin, James Eayrs, who else...? Who didn't win a title under Jeter who was good enough to be mentioned with that list of very good Phoenix? Ricky was good but what if he had played for a coach who built a decent team around him or developed his talent or kept him in line? What if Jeter had kept Torre Johnson on the straight and narrow. What could Avo or Ant Hill become with a coach that developed talent? What about the Bogas or Ja'Rob? What about all the recruiting busts, suspensions, transfers and Marcus Skinners that wasted away on the bench under Rob Jeter's watch? What if last year's team would have played to its full potential? Did the record really reflect the athletes that were on the team? What if we could go a year without a player getting arrested, suspended or leaving the team? What if what if what if what if what if what if what if |
