Any one know if there is a cost for tickets tonight and if so how much?
I checked the website and it didn't mention a link to buy tickets for this game, so i wasn't sure.

Pretty sure it is the regular single game price that they list on the site, I have not heard of any specials or discounts for this game tonight.

I ordered my season tickets a week ago and they have not arrived, despite the fact that I live in Milwaukee.
Hopefully they will let me in tonight. ;D

The giant poster/banners on the sides of the building are great. There is huge one on the side of Lubar that has the home schedule for both men and women's bball with a giant image of Haarsma and a giant one of one of the women's players.
There is another huge multiple floor poster with the panthers logo on the side of the Physics building.
Another semi-large poster of just the schedules on the side of the Klotsche that students have to pass when going to the KC. I am thinking there are others but i havent been on the other side of the campus in a week or two so i haven't seen them.
They definitely were Woooah... Posters. I mean Haarsma is half the poster and he is like 3 or 4 stories tall. Extremely well done, professional looking posters. And i am useually very picky with promotional stuff. As for game day promotions. I live in Sandburg and i don't think they even had their cheesy easel out in the lobby with a game day poster on it for tonights game. As pathetic as the easel looks its still better than nothing so thats kind of a disappointment.
As for things i think they need to do:
The mini postcard sized flyers printed on the thin glossy paper should be in everyone's school mailbox at least two days before game days promoting the game. Also scatter them on tables in the palms and the cafeteria and on lobby tables. Everywhere really. They did it lackadaisically but if they amped it up with mailboxes and every lounge and lobby table i can see it drawing some more fans.
Game day poster on every floor next to elevators. People are constantly waiting at elevators, they do it for every other event on campus. If we put our 11x17 game day poster on every floor promoting the next game i guarantee it would get more butts in seats. And make the date big. And preferably use wording like " this friday". Its not that big a difference but its simpler and people tend to think the day of the week much quicker than they think of the date of the week.
Promoting things to the point when its literally all students see may be a little excessive, but it conveys that its a big deal. You see one poster u think oh, interesting, you see 15 you think maybe this is something big.
If you want sports to be the biggest priority, they need to be advertised for like they are the biggest priority. When other campus events have more ads then our sports programs something is wrong. We need to have the most advertisements for our sports programs.
Things get taken seriously by students when it looks like the school takes those things seriously. And that is something this school needs to improve on. Showing students that they take athletics as seriously as any other big time sports school. Talk is cheap.

Wow. Sloppy is right. I know there are some new faces out on the floor for us, but we look scared and unorganized right now. Parkside looks the total opposite. Hopefully we can come out strong in the second half and put together a run. Otherwise, I have a feeling the students witnessing this tonight will shy away from future games.

Watching the game online. We have played little defense in the parts I have seen. Harris has shown a lot of improvement but he needs to make free throws cause he is going to draw a lot of fouls.
