Will there be student tickets, or will they get in by showing their ID cards?
Got my women's season tickets in the mail: the individual tickets have player pictures on them, nice ones. Haven't looked at the men's media guide, but the women's 2012-13 guide looks better: more and better pictures of players and staff.

Same as always. Students show ID, will be given a ticket, then will be scanned in at the entrance at the Klotsche. At least that's what I was told. |

So anyone on campus or around campus, have any idea what is being done to attract the student attendance??? I am curious what is being done to get the word out so we don't have 25 kids again even if it is just an exhibition game......to be honest i want to see at least one of the student section completely full tonite and i kind of consider anything less to be a failure for the first game
as was said before if the students do not show up now then i don't know what will ever get them to show up

I was wondering the same thing, Dutch. If this move to the KC was indeed targeted to improve student interest/turnout, then there had better be a concerted effort to lure them in.

I know the Facebook and Twitter feeds of the university has been shouting it out. No email reminders, though... |

Expect more students tonight than last season's exhibition game vs Parkside at the KC, but Friday night will be the game to judge student attendance. |

I gotta say i don't think we are in any position to pick which games we should be selecting to show either an increase or decrease in student attendance, there has to be an increase from the get go or this is a major failure no matter which way you slice it, and no matter what excuse is used, "it's only an exhibition game" or "its winter break everyone is back home" or "its a monday night" or "its is a bad opponent" what have you. This move was made to help the students and if they don't do their part then it is a failure of a great order and could do major damage to our program moving forward |

The Athletic Department has large banners (quite sharp looking) advertising both men's and women's basketball on several building exteriors.
i've always thought the game day promotion on campus has been a weak spot in the Department's marketing efforts. They do have something for tonight on Facebook.
