My guess is that Lecrone having the egg of Butler's departure on his face of is going to make him a bit more lenient this time around, but Jimmy does have a point... from Lecrone's POV, I could see why he'd want Milwaukee back in the Cell. If LeCrone has an extra half-million bucks burning a hole in his pocket, i'd be cool with playing in the Cell if he wants to pay for it...and if he'll lean on the WCD to give the Panthers top scheduling priority.

I think you have a short memory. Lecrone wouldn't even give us a waiver to play the conference tournament in our gym if we won the damn league last year, now the other eight school presidents are going to vote for it to continue? I think you have an even shorter memory. LeCrone wouldn't give you the waiver in March of 2012 when he had some job security. After Butler left the HL in May of 2012 LeCrone found himself on the hot seat and has been praying that the remaining 9 HL presidents don't fire his ass. I don't think you will have the slightest problem getting a waiver from him. He knows he is a dead man walking if he doesn't get HL expansion right. He will do whatever he can in the meantime to keep all current HL schools happy. It's not his decision, it's up to the school athletic directors. How accommodating will they be when Milwaukee's already very good home record over the past several years moves to an extremely difficult environment to win in on the road?

There is no chance the waiver is a significant issue.
