What you don't like the re-seeding or the entire tournament itself?

I'm a fan of re-seeding in general, but don't you, um, need seeds for that to work?

According to wikipedia, an information source second only to the Onion, the CBI stopped seeding in the 2011 tournament and you had to pay for home games until the finals. If that is still true how much are home games this year and can this program afford to buy a home game?2

If that is still true how much are home games this year and can this program afford to buy a home game?2 According to this link, about Pitt’s postseason chances, it reportedly costs $60,000 to host a game in the CBI. I’m not sure if that’s a universal cost or just a cost that specifically Pitt would incur. www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/sports/s_785403.html

According to an article regarding ODU: ODU has applied to host, Selig said. The 24-team CIT's fee is $30,000 per game. The 16-team CBI requires $35,000 for a first-round game, $50,000 for second-round game, and $75,000 for the semifinals. hamptonroads.com/2012/03/march-madness-looms-odu-makes-plansAnd if these post season appearances provide teams with valuable experience going into next season as some would like to believe, Valpo will get the most out of the tournament experience. Valpo will be playing a better caliper of teams in the NIT and will bring back their main rotation that will now have the NIT experience.

The more games a team plays, the greater the benefit.

The more games a team plays, the greater the benefit. Agreed. For next season I will give that greater benefit to Valpo for returning essentially an entire team that will have NIT experience.
