Also, Butler is now shooting 48% for the game.

Speechless. I would call for jeter's firing but would be afraid that they would hire Whitewater's coach.

Jeter's got to go. I've been embarrassed for the program more this year than I can ever remember.
Winless against Marquette and Wisconsin, embarrassed in the last 2 HL tournaments, losses by 24, 16, and [insert this game here] in league play, unable to advance past the second round in 3 of the last 6 HL tournaments. It would be one thing if we were always there in the semis and finals, but Jeter's only been to the championship game once with his own players.

This game can be summed up in one thought: out-coached.

What is really sad is this was our best shot. I see much of the league getting stronger next year but I think we take a step or two back from this year. I'm sure Jeter came back thinking he could make a NCAA run and play that into better Jon offers. So much for that plan. We are stuck with each other.

Now the game is over. 60-39 < 5:00 to go. I figured the fire Jeter "Mob" would surface. A lot of schools would fire a coach after this performance. I hope UWM is not one of them.

Don't worry when we are the 9 seed next year there won't be any talk to fire Jeter because there won't be anyone on the board to bother.

This HL Tournament, however short lived, was a microcosm of our season. Blow out UIC in the first half with a barrage of threes, let them back in in the 2nd. Then get blown out by Butler, giving up half way through the 2nd half. I'm embarrassed. I hope nobody asks me what happened to my Panthers. I won't know how to respond.

Remember when UWM traveled like Butler? Those days are long gone.

At what point would you let Jeter go? I don't consider anyone on this board (well, almost no one) to be part of the "Fire Jeter 'Mob'" that you're likely to see on the JS Online boards. There's a huge difference between losing and consistently losing when it truly counts. Butler is good, but nowhere near what they were. This was an appalling game to watch, and UWM got out-hustled, outplayed and out-coached. And what's really scary is that this was considered one of our teams to do something special. I've supported Jeter for years, and am always critical of people calling for his head midway through the season. But at the end of the season, when we know what was produced, it's a different story. If this team had a coaching change, I wouldn't likely even bat an eye anymore.

13 losses this year, 7 by at least 9 points. 5-4 in games decided by 4 points or less, 1-3 in our last 4 such games. Unable to hold significant second-half leads. Poor player rotation, leading to late-season tiredness. Still unable to effectively use timeouts. Pattern of historically terrible free throw percentage. Best field goal percentage as a coach 43.5%, shooting under 43% as a team in 4 of 7 years (under 40% in 2 separate seasons). Wretched offensive efficiency numbers (221st) and points per possession statistic (217th).
Can't defend Rob anymore.

Pathetic.
I have no idea how anyone thinks Jeter can coach. No heart and little effort shown tonight. I have little faith Jeter will ever get to the NCAA tournament. He got there with Pearl's team and since then its been disappointment after disappointment.
I am not a Pearl apologist who wants him back but anyone would be better then Jeter. He has no fire, no intensity, and time after time coming out of the half he's been out-coached.

Used to be one of Coach's biggest supporters. Even yelled at me a time or two...
