Haven't done enough research as to whom is available or who will be availabe at the end of this season. I reserve comment at this time...

Yes, because clearly when you shoot 7-27 in the 1st half and 14-44 overall its the refs fault. No one said jack squat about officiating especially when it was clear from the 10 minute mark of the 1st half what was going on. Clearly the art of sarcasm is lost on you. I'm looking forward to hearing about "getting back to fundamentals" and "trusting each other" in Jeter's post-game comments. Well I think everyone is on the edge right now. Either the ship goes completely over the edge and they end up losing a 1st round road HL tournament game or they right it and start playing good ball again.

Hack sometimes reality takes president over dreams...Reality states we get the best available at the time. Best to wait till the end of the season to see what falls out of the tree

While I'm not opposed to ending Jeter's contract, we owe him the rest of the season. This race isn't done yet. We also better be damn sure his replacement is worth eating the rest of his contract. Anyone can say that there's someone better out there, and they're probably right. The next Brad Stevens (or whoever else you fancy) is out there somewhere. It's much harder to find them. Jeter's replacement would need to work, successfully, with his players or else we'd be back where we were in 2007, if not worse. 8-7 is nothing to write home about, this is true. But its certainly nothing to get your panties in a knot in either. Especially when said 8-7 team is as injury plagued as any team in recent memory.

I’m not sure why we couldn’t afford Keno Davis, he’s going to have to start at the “mid major” level when he gets back into coaching as a head coach. He’s currently an analyst at the Big Ten Network this year, and I think he would fit in very well here.

Sure, there have been some outlier games where this team has scored 80 points and looked good offensively. But today is what they've been mostly all year: an anemic offensive team that will get clobbered if the defense allows 57% shooting like they did today. And since Jeter is a disciple of a guy who makes Norman Dale look like Norman Richardson, this is the kind of offense we'll see as long as he's roaming the baseline. What about this team would draw an average fan to come watch them play?

Jeter isn't getting fired. Not that Keno Davis wouldn't be an enormous upgrade featuring a style of basketball much more entertaining than what we're being subjected to this year.

Rawls--How much are we on the hook if we were to let Jeter go at the end of the season... I don't know off hand, I'm sure someone on this board can help you out.
