I remember when you cats used to be irrationally angry about 3-4 conference starts.

You get the feeling the better team in this game, didn't win today.

I remember when you cats used to be irrationally angry about 3-4 conference starts. Heaven forbid we be upset for losing a game we should win. When your team gets better, your expectations rise. That's the nature of the beast. Get a clue... It would have been great to leave Indiana with a 2-0 record. I'll take 1-1, but these 2 points could be the difference at the end of the year. That's where the frustration lies.

I get the feeling there's not much difference between us and Butler and this game showed it.

That's where the frustration lies. I doubt Green Bay is upset about possibly starting the year 3-1. I know for a fact Wright State isn't. And my expectations haven't changed in 3 years, when we took the eventual national runner up to the wire at their home court in the HL semis. I expect to win every game, but I don't get upset when we lose by one possession on the road to the best coach in the nation. This is what everyone gets for deciding early on that Butler is terrible. You'd think we lost to UIC by all this ruckus.

When we hand the best coach in the nation the game, yeah, I get upset.

That's cool. You'll feel different when we're 14-4 and hosting the tournament.

This loss hurts, but I'm not going to dwell on it too much. We have a nice homestand coming up against league opponents and IMO we can win all 3 against GB, WSU and Detroit. I am just as mad about this game as anyone else, but its on to the next one at WMU and more importantly winning HL games at home the following weeks.

That's cool. You'll feel different when we're 14-4 and hosting the tournament. Long season to go. Even at 14-4, it's entirely possible we'd be tied with someone, even behind them. With Butler seemingly bounced back, it's yet another team to keep an eye on. Can't shrug off any losses in this league. Don't confuse my frustration with giving up on the team, but if today didn't frustrate you, you weren't paying attention.

When we hand the best coach in the nation the game, yeah, I get upset. This sums it up nicely. I don't know about you guys, but I don't enjoy watching us choke a win away at our biggest rival.

It was equally terrible, so it didn't cost us the game, but that refereeing was appalling. Let them f'ing play. Very entertaining game. I know every fan on the losing side blames the refs, but I'm not buying that. The foul and free throw differential clearly favored Milwaukee. Butler hasn't played a road league game yet, so they have a bunch of work to do before they are a serious contender. With that said, this was a must win game and found a way to get it.

That's an interesting take since ABSOLUTELY NO ONE has blamed the refs.
We booted this one away, plain and simple.

I'm starting to worry a little more about Kaylon's brain farts...you'd think he would know A. Where his teammates are, and B. How much time is on the shot clock....
And it did seem to me that the refs were picking on Ryan alot more late in the game...
And also, to all of you b@#%#ing about FT's, if you have ANY miracle ideas that RJ and his staff havent thought of, we are all ears, Im sure....
