This was our game to win, up 10 with our tempo half way through the 2nd and we couldn't make anything. Credit to Butler for fighting and WE NEED TO MAKE FREE THROWS (haven't heard of that this season before).

A terrible loss. We gave the game away with poor shot selection, poor shooting and turnovers, and while we played our usual strong D overall, the 3 point shot that Stigall made to give them the lead came on a very bad breakdown. The 35 second violations we had were absolutely unconscionable. This loss hurt 50 times as much as any of the four previous.
It's very frustrating that we have nobody who can reliably spell Kaylon for a few minutes. He was working at about 50% effectiveness the last eight minutes and it really hurt us.
It just makes me sick to give away a game at Hinkle we should have won.

GB can go to 3-1 with a win later at Valpo. Butler, YSU, CSU, WSU all 2-1, Valpo too if they beat GB. F--- any silver lining, I'm pissed right now.

It was equally terrible, so it didn't cost us the game, but that refereeing was appalling. Let them f'ing play.

What a pathetic second half performance. The first part of the 2nd half was great for the Panthers. Down 1 at half and built the lead to 10 points. |
