Couple of things pop out at me right away. No Ronald Norad. Not suprised at all thou. Tu Holloway from Xavier. He should be the first one to drop off the list. Maybe they put the list together before their Cincinnati game. Did Nored play point guard before this season? i always thought of him as a defensive specialist (and a good one) because that was how most others talked of him. i don't recall him doing a lot of ball-handling, but i could be mistaken.
Tu Holloway should be considered for the Cousy award after he's grown up.

Hey they got the team's name correct too. I instantly looked to the end of the list for the usual "Wisconsin-Milwaukee" moniker and had to scroll up to the M's to find his name.

Holloway is averaging 18 points and 5 assists per game, so I don't see the gripe. Unless you're saying that awards should be handed out based on moral clarity instead of on-court performance, in which case Kaylon should be disqualified right alongside him.

But if we're going to argue the issue of "moral clarity,", i'd rate Kaylon's handling of his situation (which occured off the court and outside of the season) over Tu Holloway's role in a major brawl during a regular season game along with his attempt at rationalization.

If moral clarity is taken into account at all, driving very drunk without a license, then running from the cops takes you out of consideration. Period.

Tu Holloway didn't put anyone's life in danger. Also Tu Holloway should win the Cousy.

Kaylon is also tied with Machado for fourth in the country in total turnovers (60) and tied with Machado, Long Island's Jason Brickman and Indiana State's Jake Odum for most turnovers per game (3.8). The nation's most secure point guard is Ball State's Randy Davis (22 turnovers).

Assists needed to break Marc Mitchell's school Division 1 record: 49 Marc and his son were at the post-game at Goolsby's tonight so I'm certain they were also at the game.

Kaylon, in my eyes, cemented himself as the better player than Ray Jr. last night.
McCallum was chucking last night. He was 3 of 6 from three and 9 of 17 overall - neither of which is close to his average.
Williams on the other hand got nine assists and four turnovers - both of which are not surprising.
And the number that matters most to me is 84-74.

Kaylon is now 31-20 as Milwaukee's starting point guard; Junior is 26-27 as Detroit's starting point guard.

They are a talented bunch no question. Is Kaylon a better PG than Ray jr? of course he is. Kaylon also has the benefit of 2 years additional experience.
