do we every really talk about basketball when the MU topic starts?
I'm hoping to see our transition offense flourish tonight and by that I mean Paris and Tony hitting 3's like at DePaul. Lets hope Ryan/Kaylon can keep a tight lid on DJO and Mayo. I want to Harrsma get rebound after rebound over Jae Crodwer and finally I want everyone to protect the ball keep the turnovers and mental errors way down...if all of this happens I think it will be a great game and Panther W

I see the game is on ESPN 3 is that free? I tried using it once but I couldn't get into what I wanted to watch and got pissed. Otherwise does anybody know if it is on front row sports?

Dunne, if we have Paris and Tony playing "transition offense" we'll lose by 20 - 30 points. We're not a team designed to run in the first place and we sure as hell can't run with Marquette. There may be some opportunities but even when those arise we will need to consider carefully whether it's more valuable to try to exploit them or to manage the pace in a way that makes Marquette uncomfortable. They are not a half court team and don't want to play that way. The more deliberate the pace, the more frustrated they'll get. The faster the pace, the more flustered we will get.
We have a team built on defense, which is why, finally, we have had a very good start to the season. Go with your strength or go home. It was when we tightened up defensively that we started the comeback against Wisconsin. It was when we got loose defensively and lost control of the pace that UNI separated from us.

Anyone know where I can find two lower level tickets for tonight? Checked Stub Hub but nothing worth the price. Refuse to sit upper level in the BC for a basketball game.

That's funny. I have a cousin in NYC who was legitimately going to watch this tonight.

I'm in Wausau so I could get it, Unfortunately I have charter and I can't get access to ESPN 3 because they are my internet provider. Guess I will listen on the radio.

A win against Marquette will not put us in a discussion fro an at large bid. I agree with this statement, unless the Panthers can nearly run the table in conference and lose in the title game an at-large bid is not going to happen. That being said (or written) a win over Marquette or any decent RPI boosting win can help the Panthers get better than a 14 or 15 seed in the tournament if they make it. That is the key to grabbing these early season wins, shooting for a 12 or 13 seed if we win the conference tournament.

If Kyle plays, I give us a solid chance at winning if we can play solid defense, especially in transition. Either way, this should be a competitive game and hopefully the Panthers can pull off the upset! Go Milwaukee!
