Regardless of the outcome of this game, this might be the single most talented UWM team that has ever been assembled. With the defensive ability of these players, when the offensive engine is running -- which it wasn't against Michigan State -- we are a frightening basketball team.

I really like how they responded after DePaul cranked up the pressure. Milwaukee needs to keep playing smart. Take what the DePaul press gives you.

17 rebounds to Depaul's 10 (Melvin has only 1), 8 assists to Depaul's 4, as many players in double figures (3) as who haven't scored at all. Five Blue Demons have big fat goose eggs. Two of their five starters have made a field goal.
Depaul is going to come out pissed off. We need to handle them early, defend well, and cruise.

Is this a serious statement or are you just that excited we are winning at half? There were several teams in the early and mid-2000's that would have taken this team behind the woodshed. |

What a first half...Paris finally showing his true self, Tony finally rust free...if we keep up this kind of play, Buzz and Bo should be worried...

We would never say that with our Sweet 16 team. Every game we expected to win, especially when up by 20 at the half. This is a good team, but let's not get too excited yet, especially when you think the possibility of defeat still exists.
I don't see a Clay Tucker yet. I especially do not see a Davis, Tigert or Tucker yet, but the season is still young. Part of it is the style of offense, where those guys could easily put up 15 or 30 a night.

And if I remember correctly you had a lot of doubt we would win this one. We could still fall but I'll take our chances  |
