Have to be honest, not a big fan of little kids, this could be my nightmare. One day, the little kids become a program's season-ticketholders. Without the kids here today, you have no program in 2028-29.

I really like the Kids Day idea. I would have brought my 5-year old daughter to this one anyway, but having these extra things for her to do is a bonus.
For the game, I expect it to be similar to Loyola, a 12 to 20 point win. With the game pretty much over mid-way thru the 2nd half, if not sooner.

Without the kids here today, you have no program in 2028-29. So UIC should have 5,000 season ticket holders in 10 - 15 years . Does anybody know why this game is not of ESPN Full Court? The Wisconsin @ Milwaukee will have the 32 feed picked up by ESPN PPV.

I think it's pretty funny that the first Kids Day happened to be the UIC game.
For those who don't know, UIC has populated their stands with schoolchildren at every game. Roughly 1/3 of the crowd is kids on a field trip.

Agreed BP. Irony is in full force. Those UIC crowds are hilarious.

As for the game, I hope to see continued lock down defense. I can't express enough how much I enjoy watching this team defend. It'll keep keep us in most games this year if sustained.

UWM is recognizing the Milwaukee Panther's "Rising Stars" during halftime of tomorrow's game. 2 of my 15 "Rising Stars" from Rossman Elementary in Hartford will be recognized. The others will be recognized at the Bracket Buster game. I'm very proud of these kids!!!! A HUGE thank you to Brian Morgan, Rick Costello, and Panther Athletics for sponsoring this program. My Rising Stars students are so excited about attending their first Panther game and experiencing all the thrills that will be a part of being recognized for their committments to academic growth and positive behaviors. You are right, these are our future season ticket holders. I know the Panthers will also reward these kids with a victory. Thank you Panthers!!!!!!!!! Go Black and Gold!!!!

I like the Panthers in this one pretty comfortably. Key to the game is guarding Paris Carter IMO, should be a good matchup between two 6'7 guys with Haaaaaaarrrrrsma most likely matching up with Carter. That being said, if and when Carter gets fouled, he is only a modest 48.1% (13-27) from the line.
One other key for the Panthers is forcing UIC into turnovers. They average almost 20 (19.2) turnovers per game and if the Panthers can get close to forcing that, it should be a pretty comfortable win.
Go Panthers Go!

A 7-1 and 2-0 HL start is staring us in the face. Lets build a huge lead and then possibly get a little rest for the starters for Mondays game.
But just win this one 1st one way or another and worry about other games as they come!
