I'll preview the WCD representative's answer:
"A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. We don't know whether or not there will be a Horizon League championship here this season, even though the chances may be favorable. And the money from Disney is the right shade of green."

Or this:
WCD: "Milwaukee? I don't understand. The Bucks and Marquette play at the Bradley Center. How is Disney on Ice going to be a conflict?"
Jimmy: "No, the Milwaukee PANTHERS. The other D1 college basketball team in the city. We play our home games at the Cell."
WCD: "What's that? Milwaukee who? Oh you mean UW-M. Okay. Wait, you guys still play at the Cell? I thought you built a new arena."

"Milwaukee Panthers? I thought the Badgers played the Milwaukee Bucks men's basketball team last Tuesday at The Cell. This designation makes my head spin."

Okay now it makes sense. I just checked the schedules.
Even thou Disney on Ice has open weekends both before and after the Horizon League Tourney, the Cell has the circus the weekend before and a roller derby match the Saturday night after.
So that was the only weekend they could have it. I understand now.

The fact that they put Roller Derby ahead of us on priority alone pisses me off

I guess the pecking order is:
1) Wave Soccer Games 2) Wave Soccer Practice 3) The Circus 4) Roller Derby 5) Ice Skating Show 6) That basketball team from UW-M.

Well, the money is there for the WCD to sign up the ice show. I don't blam them. But, it's a kick to the stomach to all Panther fans if they are the #1 seed.
