But next to no one is a Cubs fan AND a Brewers fan. Whereas there's a large amount of Badgers AND Panthers fans. People who wear Cubs gear to a Brewers-Pirates (etc) game are doing so intentionally for a reaction. People who wear Badger gear to Panther games are doing it because they're casual Panther fans and believe there's a connection between the teams. I don't have any Panther gear, so this is the next best thing. More like how you see people in Packers gear at Brewers games. They show up to the occasional game the way one of us may show up to an Admirals/Wave/Mustangs game. How do we change that? Winning is the biggest factor, but overall experience plays a big role too and Panther swag can help that.

Word seemed to be he wasn't getting kicked off. I assume there will be a suspension.

I have heard that the team is having a great pre-season. Guys are working hard and in great shape and the chemistry is very good. Tone and Chris are doing a great job settling into their positions. We are "way ahead" of where we have been in previous years. At this point there are individual workouts and, I think, one team practice a week. The staff is very excited about this group.
I didn't ask anything about Kaylon. He's obviously in school and working with the team. I'm sure his situation will be clarified later, but I'm hopeful for his sake that this was a bad stumble that he'll have the opportunity to overcome.

Leave it to Marc Katz to put WSU in fifth. I'd like to hear the justification for that, seeing as no one else has them anywhere near 5.

"I don't even know that I could name another player on Green Bay's team..." Nothing screams "I have no effing clue what I'm talking about" like admitting you have no effing clue what you're talking about. Ahh bloggers and beat writers...

Agreed.
I actually rather like Green Bay's frontline of Alec Brown, Daniel Turner and Jarvis Williams.
The key to the Phoenix's season is point guard Terry Johnson, the transfer from Illinois State.

Who is going to be the Panthers beat writer this season?

Who is going to be the Panthers beat writer this season? According to Todd Rosiak on Twitter, since he has been promoted to the Brewers beat, Tom Enlund has moved to the Golden Eagles beat and we will likely see an amalgam of several writers. He agreed with me that the best thing for Milwaukee is to have one writer all season, so the continuity builds and better writing comes out towards the end. If I were Rosiak, I'd be disappointed. What happens if Marquette goes to the Final Four this year? If he were still on the beat, he'd likely be able to go to a big publisher and get a book deal; now that he's on the Brewers beat, he won't and neither will his replacement, who only had one year of experience around the team. Not to mention, even though he went to UWM, Todd's been a Marquette fan all his life.
