Jeter's name popping up is likely a combination of the job he has done and the lack of respect given to Milwaukee hoops. Likely people are thinking that the coaching position and overall basketball situation at (place school name here) is better than that at Milwaukee and it would be easy to lure a coach away. I'm not saying this is true, but likely that is what some believe.

It does seem odd that Dayton would be so quick to go after a coach that had already expressed interest in remaining where he was. It seems like the high likelihood of wasting one's time would be a deterrent.

All one has to know of JSONLINE is that they carry Eugene Kane's Black racist columns. I stopped reading everyting but the Sports. And then ran into the We want Bruce Pearl back posters. So I gave them up entirely.

I agree that Wisconsin is underrated as a state that develops talent, however, this state cannot compare to the amount of talent that Ohio high school programs are producing on an annual basis.

In regards to the A-10 not having Butler--don't you think that might be a reason Jeter might want to leave, or would at least consider when weighing his options?
