I heard an ESPN analyst talk about how Howard has a shot at the big leagues. Wow, how a NCAA championship game and sweet sixteen appearance can boost your stock on the next level.

idk...i think his upside would be brian cardinal/scalabrine...
one thing that could up his odds in the draft would be if lockout talks picked up...but assuming he'd still be a second round pick, that could also mean he winds up with a contract in Europe and no guarantee at an NBA deal

He needs to either gain or lose 10 pounds to be an NBA player. His 3-point efficiency helps his case.

I saw that article, and they said both he and Graves have a shot at a role-player type. I guess I could see that, but as mentioned he'd have to put on some weight.

I am a UWM fan first and a Badger fan second, yet I have mixed emotions about the game on Thursday.
I know that it's better for UWM if Butler wins. We get more money from the tourney. Furthermore, I know that the more successful UW is, the more people look up to them and look down on us or ignore us altogether.
On the other hand, as my partner is a UW fan first and UWM fan second he will be upset if the Badgers lose and I know many fine people in Madison who are UW fans (and who root for UWM when we're not playing them) who will also be upset.
So I will be rooting for Butler but if UW wins, I won't be all that distraught about it. And if anyone doesn't like that they can kiss my behind.

This is my perspective, too. Conference first, but if UW wins it will be good for my friends who are Badger fanatics.

Same here. Will cheer for Butler because it is good for Milwaukee and the perception of the Horizon conference. Plus, we would have two wins over a team that Wisconsin was not able to beat. However, I also will not be distraught should Wisconsin win.

Two really bad calls go Butler's way early.

Wisconsin needs to stop running the swing. Butler isn't even bodying up on the quick post looks, they're just flashing in front of their man and waiting for the next switch to take place. It's a perfect defense.

Halfway there Butler. Twenty more minutes and Bucky is done for the year. I hope.

Leuer and Taylor are terrible. If they continue to play like this, this game won't be close.
Stevens is completely outcoaching Bo.

The Badgers refuse to touch the post or drive the hoop. Settling for jumpers when you can't buy a shot is bordering on lunacy. Good for Butler!

Butler is doing nothing but push in the post. Matt Howard especially. In a different game those are fouls. Wisconsin hasn't adjusted.
