As I said, I will never cheer for Butler, but it is truly amazing how well they play in the biggest games. You have a guy on the line when it is tied. A tip in wins that game. How often does a foul like that happen. I understand pulling them off with a lead since a tip-in doesn't matter (exactly what Stevens did). And pretty damn smart of Howard to miss the second free throw, therefore avoiding a set play (and potentially another dumb foul). |

Who would have thought that Andrew Smith would make the big shot. There is so much confidence in any one of the players to make the big play. That's what makes Butler different than other mid majors on the tournament, you simply cannot focus on one or two players.
Mack certainly gave the NBA scouts a show.
