f***. A team that bribes it's recruits and helps them cheat on tests so they're academically eligible is about to win it all. I'm going to vomit.

I don't understand why they're in zone. Defense wasn't the problem.
Jesus, Napier came down with the ball still in his hand.
I'd also just like to remind everyone that Walker has been playing the point for like 10 minutes in this game, and was only sparsely a point guard during the regular season, yet he won the Bob Cousy Award over Jordan Taylor.
Edit: Crap, Howard got held down low again

Unfortunately, I think this type of loss will push Stevens out of Butler sooner than later. The one thing he really lacks at Butler is size and athleticism, which he can get a bigger conference school. At Butler he simply can't get the Cody Zeller's of the world.

Andrew Smith is 6'10". We have 6'9" kyle Kelm and 6'10" JJ Panoske on our roster. Green Bay has a 7-footer. He can get size if he tries.

We can get size, but I'm talking about a different level of player. It would like us landing a Jon Leuer type player. That's the difference.

Are you comparing Eli Holman to Jon Leuer?

No, but he's the type of insanely athletic big man that you're convinced the Horizon League can't land.
There was also Gordon Hayward, who was indeed a lot like Jon Leuer, just smaller in the post.
Unrelatedly: Auburn won the football title, are currently under investigation by the NCAA. Uconn won the basketball title, are currently under NCAA probation. Cheaters never always win.

Congrats to UConn, what a run thru the Big East and NCAA toury. What could've been for Butler, only if they would've made shots. They played solid defense and had the style of game their way. Plain and simple, you must make baskets.

Holman didn't look insanely athletic against Milwaukee.

Anyone else feeling like Nantz might as well give Jim Calhoun a big kiss? Could he fawn over him anymore? Geez...

Holman didn't look insanely athletic against Milwaukee. We had Anthony Hill. Besides, Detroit never got him the ball. For whatever reason.

As bad as I wanted Butler to win, this doesn't have the sting that the Boise State loss to Nevada provided.
