Part of me wants Kentucky to win just so Calipari can get that all-important third Final Four vacated.

Actually, if they removed the cheaters from consideration now, the Butler-VCU game would be for the national championship.

Its coach is soft-talkin', smilin' Roy "Bonnie, I'm surprised at you!" Williams.
I rest my case.

You know, that guy who kicked a fan out of his arena for jeering a North Carolina player during a free throw.
He's Tom Crean, Sr. Tom Creanior, if you will.

So, now in the Final Four we have Butler, a conference rival from whom Milwaukee swept the season series, and VCU, a school with a profile nearly identical to our own.
Here's my message to the Panther coaches and players:
"You see! You see! I see things as they are and I say, 'No!' Uh, wait, you see things as they are not and you s- Wait, uh, you see things, do you see things as they are? What do you say when you see things?"
Know what I mean?

I'm not a fan of 'ol Huckleberry Hound Williams, but that in no way equates to cheating which is the original claim. BTW, he was right when he talked about Wisconsin basketball being the equivalent of watching paint dry and that's why most fans around here hate him.

My fondness for Dick Bennett aside, just remember the old adage:
"Adversity doesn't test character; it reveals it."
His was revealed on the night when he was asked by Bonnie Bernstein, acting properly in her role as a reporter, about the Carolina job after the national championship loss to Syracuse.

Once again, has nothing to do with cheating.

The more ESPN shows clips of Butler/UWM the more I don't like our yellow baseline lettering. It should be uncolored hardwood. That's just my random opinion.

I don't think I could be rooting harder for the right side of the bracket. Calipari vs Calhoun for the best team money can buy. Yuck.
As for Ol' Roy, UNC is my childhood team and I'm no fan of the guy. He recruits and develops well, but I've too often seen undisciplined playground ball cost the Heels games, as it did today, without Williams trying to stop it.
