Hey Panther fans, I'm a sophomore at UW-Whitewater and as you can probably tell by my handle, a Marquette fan. Before you jump on me for that, I'm a fan of all teams Wisconsin and will be at the Cell on Saturday and hopefully Tuesday as well. I hope you guys (and gals) will check out my Horizon League Predictions. For English class I have to make a blog, and luckily for me March Madness is right around the corner so there is plenty to write about. You can read my predictions here: billmaussports.com/Now I'm not just here to coax you into reading my school assignment. I consider myself relatively knowledgeable when it comes to sports and I would love to talk Panther basketball and this seems to be the most popular place for that. Good luck in the tournament and if you guys make predictions maybe you can make this thread the place to put them. Feel free to comment on the predictions if you read it!

"Milwaukee has won two close games in their two meetings this year" Good blog...but we beat Butler in Milwaukee by 24. I dont think 24 is a close game ;D

Knew I would make some mistakes on my first try Thanks for reading! The way this season has played out, I just think that it is Milwaukee's year. Depending on the draw the Panthers could win a game or two as well

"In Saturday’s semifinals, Butler annihilates Cleveland State and Valparaiso avenges its season-altering loss at Milwaukee (would a Rogers buzzer-beater be too over the top?), forcing the league to move mid-tournament for the first time (and, hopefully, force them to re-evaluate the insipid nature of this 'championship event.')"
I'd love it if writers who cover the league would learn a little bit about the league before they write.

Fact-checking isn't Lazerus' strong suit ... tournament moved back to Milwaukee in 2004 when Butler lost in the semifinals.

Last I checked, no matter if you win by 1 or 25, still counts as a W.
Let's see what he has to write after Youngstown beats them tonight.

He's only writing what must be written to support his arguments.
I wonder how his copy would have been different had Valpo scored the No. 1 seed?
Don't think he'd be writing about the "insipid nature of the 'championship event.' "

If it's so insipid Valpo should have stayed in the Summit League where championships are played before crowds of hundreds in the middle of Dakota blizzards.

I love the band! You guys and gals do a great job. 5 years ago or so the band used to play the A-Team theme song. What happened to that?

Pat Fordes "40 Minutes" predicted Butler to win based on March experience....time to prove another "expert" wrong.

I doubt Forde has watched one minute of a Panther game this year. Specifically either of the two victories over Butler.
