Just like how all that postseason experience helped the Yankees last year, or how all that Super Bowl experience helped the Steelers. They had been there before.

I doubt Forde has watched one minute of a Panther game this year. Specifically either of the two victories over Butler. It was the second victory over Butler that convinced me that the Panthers had it in them to win the league.
It's one thing to win at home. It's another thing to go to Indianapolis and win in Hinkle Fieldhouse. The second victory was not a blowout like the first one was, but i felt pretty confident throughout the game that the Panthers had control of things. And that led to confidence that they could make a strong run the rest of the way.

I love the band! You guys and gals do a great job. 5 years ago or so the band used to play the A-Team theme song. What happened to that? That ones been gone for a few years. Dunno for sure why, but songs move in and out of our repetoire fuom year to year. For instance this year we added Poker Face and Seven Nation Army, amongst a few others.

Looks like Lazerus corrected his story ... no mention of Butler playing Milwaukee close in Milwaukee, and now says the tournament would move for a second time.

I'll give myself a pat on the back for getting 4/4 on opening night, even if only 1 or 2 of the games were ever in question

For a program that just joined the league a few years ago, Valpo and the media that cover it sure make a fuss about policies and practices that work so well for the rest of us (well, other than Loyola, that is.)

UIC was within 6, Youngstown was within 3 and Green Bay was in the lead. All three of them could have won last night.

Robo Kreps and Dipanjot Singh can hit threes. Couple misses by CSU, couple threes by them, tie game.

Robo Kreps and Dipanjot Singh can hit threes. Couple misses by CSU, couple threes by them, tie game. I understand that and I agree they had a slim chance. Just personally to me it seemed like they never really had a real chance and were clearly outclassed. Cleveland State was kind of just gliding.
