also, a comment on the event...last time around, there were more "not attendings" than "attendings" and you saw the student section...
its early, but there are already 95 "attendings" compared to 18 "not attendings"
this is going to be insane

Man I am beginning to get worried. I have to wait till tomorrow to get my ticket seeing as how I commute to school everyday and I'm worried their may not be many left by then. It would really be a shame for anyone like me who attended almost every game to get shafted out of this by a bunch of band wagoners who may only be attending their 1st or 2nd Panthers game...
I can only hope they are still there tomorrow as I CANNOT miss this game.

If you do end up getting burned, talk to Lavar in the athletic office. He's really gone out of his way to accommodate the die-hards.

I got my tickets this afternoon. The ticket office was open from Noon to 4pm. There was a short line forming when I left.
I suggest that the diehards hit the phone early tomorrow if they want to be sure they'll get tickets. Don't forget there will be a substantial complement of Butler fans coming too.

It hard to say how many Butler fan will be here since the game is on the middle of the work week. 2003 and in 2006, there were less BU fans for the title game than the semi-finals.

Way too many missed free-throw in the 2nd half for the Panthers.
Why do they have Tony Meier do the inbound, when he is the best guy from the line?

Watching the closing stages of the WCC semifinal tonight between St. Mary's and Santa Clara (it appears to be a bid-clinching victory for the Gaels) and there are a gaggle of fans on hand at neutral-court Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
This only serves to remind me of the clear superiority of our tournament format.

My daughter set the same kind of pick in her 7th grade girls basketball game that Saturday morning. My daughter is 5'8" 180 while the girls she picked was 5' and maybe 100 lbs soaking wet. When that girl hit my daughter it was like she hit a brick wall. The other team couldn't believe a foul wasn't called. When your team is the victim of a pick like that it looks awful, when your team sets a pick like that it is a thing of beauty. I'm glad Tone survived.
