I was hoping to start walking the walk on my desire to see a Panthers game in every HL venue (excluding UIC, LU & GB since I've been to each) but if MUPanther's predictions are correct, my best case scenario is YSU/CSU trip. Weren't you on the infamous 2004 trip to Valpo?

Weren't you on the infamous 2004 trip to Valpo? Nope, besides it wouldn't count since they weren't a conference member.

Yeah, I need to hit up CSU, Wright St, Detroit and YSU to finish off the conference swing. I was at the NCAA games @csu but I dont count that.

Really wish we had more home non-con games, oh well Two games still left to fill. The dates open are Nov.11 & Dec. 17. I would think they really want to fill the Dec. 17 date, since it would be only one game played in 16 days. Plus, the Panthers have always of late played at home on the third Saturday in December.

Yea but at this point they will probably be Division 2 opponents unless we already have something scheduled or in the works that no one knows about yet.

Panthers will have 6 HL home games in January and one in February. Does anyone else see what's wrong with this?

Panthers will have 6 HL home games in January and one in February. Does anyone else see what's wrong with this? Last I checked, every HL team plays 9 road games and 9 home games ... not sure why the pattern matters so much. You also need to realize that when your landlord thinks hosting a circus is more important than hosting basketball games, the HL might be forced to schedule your games on the road. Just sayin'.

I don't know why felt you had to put "just sayin," I was looking for feedback. I understand the circus is in town in late Febuary. Why do the Panthers have to play at Green Bay, 3 of the past 4 years in February. That could be flipped around. Playing 5 of 6 Horizon League games in the month of Febuary is tough!

Sorry for the tone, mu ... didn't mean any harm. That is a tough February schedule, but it also means that the Panthers play 8 of their first 12 HL games in MKE, which could be viewed as an opportunity to get off to great start!
But it does stink for Milwaukee fans when your only home game in February is Senior Day.

I'm hardly surprised that you're unfamiliar with this, but we've been getting the shaft in H-League scheduling for longer than I can remember. Butler or Green Bay, the two schools we consider our biggest rivals, have visited us during winter break every year, and sometimes it's both. I broke down, when Valpo joined the conference, a way that every school would get at least 8 conference home games while school is in session, because we want the maximum amount of students at games (even your student attendance is minimal when BU is on break). It's doable because several schools have different schedules for classes - Valpo comes back the first week of January, Wright State is on trimesters and in class in early January, Loyola gets back the second week of January, most of the public schools come back the third week or fourth week of January. The point I'm making is that if the Horizon League did as I did and put in four hours of effort (more than I did), they could find a schedule that gets everyone as many home games during classes as possible and still doesn't mess with travel.

Eddiec- No problem! It should be two home games in February. One Horizon League game and the other one is the BracketBuster.

Guilty as charged. I know that Valpo fans think they get hosed on scheduling (and will again when they see this year's schedule), but I wasn't aware the HL was sticking it to Milwaukee as well. Not sure what you're doing with PantherU, but a discussion with someone at the HL HQ regarding the criteria considered and process involved when putting the league schedule together would be an interesting topic.
