Sounds like it was a joy to watch.
Like the South Dakota State and Niagara games that I also never saw, this game will always be something of an urban legend to me.
By the way, I think Bill passed a stone on Kaylon's tying shot.

It's much easier to make free throws and jumpers when the ball is so much smaller. I watched the second half and overtime while recovering this afternoon, and I'm glad we got the win. The defense was not good and the team was completely reliant on shooting 3's and making them at a higher rate than normal. I still can't believe McCallum didn't have Detroit foul at the end to keep Kaylon from having a chance to tie the game. That's just it, they were going for the foul. Williams squeezed in there and got the ball and shot off before they could get to him. Awesome. In the first half, I complained about Williams play. In the second half, the only complaints I had were the missed free throws. They had a chance to foul Williams, the player simply didn't do it.

By the way, I think Bill passed a stone on Kaylon's tying shot. One thing that is not an urban legend, Detroit appears overrated. At times they play like the game is over. They do not appear to have the drive needed to put the game away.
