One thing I can't wait for in the offseason: the opportunity to go back and find the thread where I said "by the time they're seniors, don't be surprised if Anthony Hill is better than Matt Howard" and then got ostracized by most.
That's gonna be fun. But one more game to prove he's Howard's better. One more game.

But right now I would take Hill over Howard. Hill has become almost unstoppable as long as they get him the ball early and often. Thats a major credit to the staff and Hill for buying into what they wanted him to become. The simple fact he has only taken three 3 pointer this year is a huge statement of that development.

I thought Anthony would eventually become a respectable player, nut never did I think he would become this dominant in the Horizon League. He has been the best big man in the Horizon for the last two years.

BP, when you are perusing the archives, see if you can find what I said about Ant as a freshman too.

I don't know if I would say one player is better that the other, though Hill has had the better of Howard this year.
Howard, has improved his game this year and has become a perimeter threat. He is shooting almost 44% from three point range.
Both players bring different styles to the floor. Hill works in Milwaukee's scheme, Howard works in Butler's scheme.
It will be fun to watch Tuesday.

I never thought he would be this good of a player.

I laughed my ass off and had I been at a computer, I would have PMed you on that one.

Being 1 of only 5 players to score over 2,000 points in the WIAC is nothing to be ashamed of. I still think he would have been a productive player for Milwaukee. ;D

Also, as an addendum: Barring injury, Tony Meier is on pace to shatter the 1000-point mark and become the 25th Panther to reach the milestone. He needs only 290 points to do it; he has so far scored 378 this year.

I was just browsing through UWM's record books, and it turns out that with 91 offensive rebounds this year, Anthony Hill broke the post-1990 single-season record for offensive boards in a single season. Previous record was 88, set by Randy Doss in the 1990-1991 season.
His 212 total rebounds ties him for second on the single-season rebounding list (with Adrian Tigert), only two rebounds short of the post-1990 single-season rebounding record (also Tigert).
His 108 personal fouls rank third-most on the list, but we'll just ignore that.

It's amazing how many rebounds Hill got while failing to box out 90% of the time.
He'll be a great pro overseas.
