Box scoreLike the Wisconsin game, a fairly good defensive performance wiped away by terrible shooting. The killer, in the end, was the awful second half, which oddly hasn't been our problem this year. It's a lot like Western Michigan, when we were within striking distance at halftime but let it slip away, as opposed to games like Wisconsin, Marquette, SDSU, and even Cleveland State, when the second half has been the strongest half for the team. In the word of John Goodman from the fantastic "Big Lebowski" Donnie you're out of your element! Dude I was at BOTH of the games (Madison & DePaul) and honestly we did not play THAT great of defense, looking at the box score could lead you to believe we did, but we did not, we played average at best. On offense in both fo those games and others this year we have sucked, so cut your crap about telling others what they can and cant say, or are you going to start trying to fight with me another season ticket holder and donor that you think is not worth the time or effort they give to the program??? You can be a fan and be realistic too, and see what something is, we have talented players who have good skill but right now as a team we are not playing good and we suck at times, come to grips with it man, that does not make anyone less of a fan for stating that to anyone else they want to, so cal the hell down and relax and quit trying to start crap with other people for no good reason. |

A. This is not a well coached team. Rob has had years to correct the mistakes that his teams make over and over. There is no excuse for that. The worst part of it, is most are mental.
B. While on paper, the recruiting talent seems to increase, it just doesn't translate to the floor. I have no clue the cause, maybe these guys just aren't as good as we all hoped? Maybe Rob struggles to develop talent? I have no idea, it's very disappointing however.
C. SuperKing you gotta relax man! There's a lot of great fans and alumni who follow this board, many of whom stopped posting as result of some of the attitudes taken here. Nobody wants to contribute somewhere, regardless of the content of their post, where the "Board Police" are waiting to pounce. Frustration happens, and UWM seems to be slipping further and further into obscurity with no end in sight. It drives me, as most, insane. Such a great foundation was laid when Rob took the program over. And shame on Bud for hiring a coach with such a contrast in style, and shame on Rob for trying to sell the brand prior to his tenure.

I am as disgusted and disappointed as much as many people on here are. It's tough to stay positive through the rough times but I do because I am a Milwaukee Panther and things will be better again for the Panthers on another day. It's just tough to see that day with games like tonight so far.

20 turnovers and 53% from the charity stripe wouldn't even get you a win against Sisters of the Poor. Hope some of the up comming teams weren't scouting us tonight. This team has shown they cannot handle a pressure D and that was the fact tonight, plus Robs temper tantrum in the 2nd half didn't help. Why oh why is Tone still starting, he is shooting 37% and 35% from 3 point range. He could always get a job as a bricklayer if he keeps it up. A trip overseas and 12 games into the season we look still like a playground pick up team. They keep this up we won't have to worry about the nonsense of building a new arena on campus. They may have to see if Riverside H.S. gym is available for home games because thats about all the fans they will get to show up.......

I decided not to post last night to let things process.
Had the day off and drove down with a few of the student section "regulars". My takes. First DePaul has no fan base or students. I thought it was bad here, I would venture a guess and if you take away the school group of kids who heckled Jimmy and us, MKE had more fans there last night.
Secondly, someone pointed out Tone. I love Tone, but he is taking bad shots, and honestly he is starting to show me that Rob Demovski was right, when he called him a "chucker". JaRob and Lonnie both need to start.
In my Keys to the game I said Ant Hill needed to be a beast, well he played like one for about 10 min. Then he played like my girlfriends kitten for 25 min and then didn't play at all. I said something along the lines of I think Ant is like Manny Parra, has huge potential but either doesn't get it or something is up.
The refs were of Big East caliaber, at one point i remember seeing a Tweet via @chicobball who was blogging the game and he counted 13 Travel Violations in 10 min. Ryan Allen's Charge was not so, and I state that we MUST has the half circle in College B-Ball.
Eh. Rant But I'm just upset, I know we can do much, much better. Hopefully they can come together, rally around a cause and play hard, and win some games.

It's pretty obvious that this team has absolutely no ability to handle any sort of pressure on the ball. I expect just about every team to press us from here on out. And I really can't see any way that this team can beat a press. We look lost.  |

I started calling Boyle a chucker two years ago. And that's what he is.
This team attempted 46 shots in a 40-minute game. So much for picking up the tempo and playing faster.
I hope we get pressed every game from here on out. At least we won't forget what one looks like.
