I think we have much more pressing issues right now than DePaul's announced attendance.

Does anyone think this team can play any better than they did against Marquette? Not many teams can say they peaked in a loss in November.

I don't know, but I want to see visual evidence of that South Dakota State game.
As we speak, the team's showing in that game is as mythical as Babe the Blue Ox.

What's up with Wolf getting minutes over Carter? Is his hand still hurt? Seems like Jeter hasn't given him much of a chance yet. Carter sucks! I said that this summer.

My joke the other day that Milwaukee could replace DePaul in the Big East and no one would notice? Confirmed last night. They had about the same amount of people at the game as we had at the Cell for Northern Iowa, CSU, YSU etc. Their announced attendance? 7612. SEVEN THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED TWELVE PEOPLE was the announced attendance. Are you f**king KIDDING? Is this a joke? If they had 7612 at last night's game, we had 6,000 at the Klotsche Center against Western Michigan, 8,000 against Northern Iowa and 15,000 against Marquette. I have never seen a school fudge the attendance numbers like that. Absolutely ridiculous, and if that's the going rate in men's basketball right now, we better start announcing 5,000 fans per game. Attendance numbers go by tickets sold. (Paid crowd)

I get a kick out of our announced attendance as well. There are games at the Cell where I count the fans and add a few extra for those at the concessions or rest rooms when we announce 2,500 and I can barely count 1,000 actual live people Paid crowd

Mitch Carter I'm sure is a nice guy, and he could potentially spell our starter for a few minutes here and there. He's probably also useful as a practice squad guy, getting the players used to playing larger post players. That being said...Nobody should have assumed he was going to be a big time player for us, or even play significant bench minutes. The guy barely got off the bench for South Carolina for christ sake, so assuming he was going to improve drastically in his short amount of time here at Milwaukee just isn't realistic.

Last nights game doesn't bother me as much as it bothers others on this board. Yeah the execution was horrendous, but that has more or less been a staple of the Jeter regime.
What I did see and like was Jeter getting heated in the second half, and I didn't notice his players dogging it. Yes we lost to a BAD team, and that BAD team played terrible, and was as bad as advertised. That being said, the effort was at least there for the panthers. More than we can say on a few occasions this year.
