Games like tonight do NOTHING to convince fans and students that don't go to games that they are missing a good product out there. In fact, they make drawing fans to games even more difficult. Absolutely disgusted right now. +1.

Simply at a loss for words on this one. Going to be hard to get people to games after they witnessed this on TWC32. I know it's going to be difficult for me to convince friends and family to come to more games.
CSU set the tone for this game from the start. Definitely a good road trip for CSU. This is their most difficult trip in terms of travel and to come away 2-0 has to feel good.

Absolutely disgusted right now. +1. I know they are capable of playing much much better than tonight but the people who came tonight for the first time or don't even bother coming don't know that. They take one look at the score and say oh, same ol, same ol. Not worth my time to show up. Then it's back to square one again.

Another game, another home embarrassment. I have a hard time recalling past seasons where the thought crossed my mind of "why do I bother come anymore?" This was just miserable basketball by UWM.
The sign of a bad team is inconsistency. And I don't know who's at fault anymore --- players that simply can't execute or don't care to follow a game plan, coaches that can't get their team prepared or make the proper in-game adjustments, lack of talent? I don't know.
I'd like to think we'll learn from games like to tonight, but I thought that same thing after Portland, FAU, Western Michigan...

Well being one of the resident uber-Optimists of this Discussion Board I am not scared to post the truth tonight. We played awful. Cleveland St. played incredible, but that's no excuse... if anything we should have lost by 10 or less. We are not this bad. (or are we?)
UWM:::::: 29.6% Field Goals 25.0% 3pt Goals CSU::::::: 63.8% Field Goals 63.6% 3pt Goals
What the hell was the outcome suppose to be with those numbers? I don't know how the hell CSU has shot as well as they have tonight and two nights ago at the Resch Center in Green Bay.
Well, at least Tony Meier showed up on this very important night (BIG time). I cannot believe the undisciplined play from our Panthers we just saw. We looked way disorganized and disoriented out there...
I noticed J.J. Panoske was seated a few rows in front of me apparently spending a free weekend night to see his future team battle an undefeated. I'm sure he had a blast watching this conference meltdown..
A loss is one thing, but we wanted to see a basketball game and this was a Harlem Globetrotter affair... I don't know what it is. Super King and I aren't on crack- this team has some incredibly talented players. We just can't seem to put it together night in and night out.
Even in the depths of my/our despair, I am not losing faith yet. Yes, it is apparent that a night like tonight (or like our 1st game) can happen at any time- and that is scary.
But maybe their is a chance we can still significantly limit the chance of that happening again and get on with this season. Win games. That's the only thing that will make [tonight] go away.

It's not the loss itself or the size of the loss that is discouraging, it is the way CSU played as compared to the way Milwaukee played. CSU looked more athletic and executed their offense well. CSU simply played with confidence while Milwaukee appeared to play scared.
I don't expect to see another loss like that again this year. We had a hard time adjusting to the pressure this game. I expect to see more opponents pressing Milwaukee in the future.

Here's how we lost the game:
CSU's starting guards, Harmon, Cole and Montgomery -- 47 points (16-22 fg, 10-14 3fg, 5-5 ft), 10 boards, 11 assists, 8 tos
Milwaukee's starting guards, Williams, Boyle, McCallum -- 4 points (1-14 fg, 0-6 3fg, 2-3 ft), 5 boards, 4 assists, 6 tos
And to be honest, those horrendous stats for Milwaukee's starting guards don't even tell the full story of how badly they played. I am dead serious when I say we ought to start Patrick Souter at point next game. If Kaylon wants to be the lead guard for this team he needs to start playing like a lead guard.

This team has the worst group of guards of all the teams I have cheered for at UWM. Kaylon Williams handled the press and trap like a grade schooler.
Once again, the coaching staff did not have this team prepared from the opening tip. And waiting to call a timeout until it was 12-2 when you were completely overmatched was a joke.
Ken Pom might be right. This team has the look of a 12-17 squad. I'm afraid to see what will happen when Milwaukee has to travel to places like Butler, CSU, and Detroit.
My only consolation was winning the free Qdoba burrito.

Kaylon was the only guard bring the ball up on the press, while Hill was in the middle setting the screen and handling the ball. Why was hill handling the ball and not setting up. Why wasn't Boyle or Ja'Rob not comming to the ball..!!!! Oh, because they were getting set up for there shot, before the ball even got to them. And we talk about on this board how it won't happen again and/or it can't get worse. They let CSU, Marq. and Portland shoot them out of the gym and they still tried to play man all game. Why not try a box in 1 or 1--3-1 zone. Please. This game was humiliating. Waters put only 2 of his bench players in the game with 1:30 left. The Panthers showed NO emotion what-so-ever all game. I would've not like to be the camerman for this game, because it must of been a pain in the a&^ to try and show the crowd during the game on tv because it was already dead and people began to leave the game. I loved the phony Rob/Gary shake, it was pretty obvious that Waters was trying to make a statement by firing up threes til the end and not putting in his bench. That's really not what stuck with me. What I'll never forget after this game is when Rob left to the tunnel, he hit the Panther tooth so hard, I thought it was going to deflate. He was pretty pissed off. These clowns are gonna have to earn my respect back. Just flat out unacceptable effort/behavior and pride for the school. Thank gosh the student sections didn't clear out as I was expecting that to happen. Wow.

How are we supposed to get new people excited about the panthers? One sentiment I will express is the mutual love for the bobble. Special shout out to Andrew Chevy and Nicholas Investments. You deserve much more for the dope Milwaukee Panther T-shirts and Bobbles you've so generously donated.

We need to start recruiting these former pro's kids (and current pros in the case of Juwan Howard Jr.) They all seem to fly under the radar then blow up on the college scene. JHJR had a nice little game and lit us up too. SHAQ BOGA CAN"T GET HERE SOON ENOUGH. JJ Too

It's kind of sad that I have to say this again, but thank God I couldn't make the drive down to Milwaukee for this one. I just don't even know what to say anymore. I've always disagreed with the trolls on the JSOnline forums, but I think we need a coaching change. This team isn't going anywhere. I'm not expecting them to be as good as they were when I was a student, but they play sloppy, uninspired basketball, and it's embarrassing. Honestly, CSU reminded me of how we USED to look. Very sad, indeed.

Maybe this summer many of us were looking at this team in our Panther eyewear. I can't see this team even finishing in the top 5 of the HL.
Is Ryan Allen in the doghouse, why is he not playing?
I think when you are down 20+ points it's time to change the style you are playing. Full-court press, double team at half court.
Can the Panthers ever get some open looks for Tone Boyle?
Terrible game, I don't know why versus an 9-0 team, that's a league game in your building.
Road games versus Wisconsin, South Dakota St & DePaul coming up.
