Much better in the second half, but still not comfortable.

Can anyone on this time hit free throws on a regular basis? We're pulling away, but we'd have been comfortably ahead at half if we had made our free throws.

Good exhibition game. Carroll is well coached. Lot of good film from this one. Once Coach Jeter adjusted everyone's attitude a little at the half it was a blowout. That's a valuable lesson.
We're a good free throw shooting team. I'm not worried about that. The biggest thing by far we have to address is that we were recklessly fast at times. And lose the damn alley-oop play except in called situations, please. Five attempts tonight and not one worked.

Not to nitpick, but I'm not really sure what this is supposed to be.
A feature? A season preview? A game preview? A game summary?
Seeing as how the game blog has been removed, I'd really like to hear about the game.

Just kind of sloppy play tonight. I'd be interested in the FT%, first half vs second. Fast breaks were also an issue, it seemed like our Panthers weren't able to keep progressing after the pass. Other than that, good D, good job penetrating, good job with the possession battle. If we made our FTs in the first half, that one looks a lot like MSOE.

He probably wrote the bulk of the thing before the game and slight additions were made to reflect the outcome.

Sloppy First Half, and poor FT shooting throughout. The Refs for some reason didn't want to make the obvious calls. Like the Travel, or when the kid from Carroll called a timeout then stepped out of bounds.
Learn some lessons, and move on.

So was Tom at the game or did he work sidesaddle to Charlie G.? I want to know whether or not I should send a little note to G. Money.

Carrol stayed in it because we missed FTs and they hit 3-pointers. That changed in the second half.

To be successful, this team needs the 2nd half Anthony Hill from tonight to play like that the whole time. First half Anthony Hill didn't even belong on Carroll's roster.

Tell me Anthony wasn't hanging out by the 3-point line again.
