Also, why is Mills being referred to as a forward? i noticed that as well...it could be because he's a string bean? but it's not like he's ever anywhere but under the rim anyway...

I am also a forward, a 5-8 1/2 rim-rocking forward (well, actually I once jumped off a garbage can at my buddy's house, got scared, clung to the rim for dear life and tore the whole basket down).

He's in high school. If you're 6'6" in high school, chances are you're a center.

Accidentally posted this in the 2011 thread, but it's here now: Tom Enlund has been reading the boards: www.jsonline.com/sports/panthers/89304512.html"Two point guards the Panthers have a keen interest in are 6-foot-3 Kaylon Williams of Kirkwood Community College in Iowa and 5-11 Anthony Cousin of Butler County Community College in Kansas. ... "Williams averaged 11.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 1.8 steals per game this season for Kirkwood, which went 28-8 and finished third in the Division II national junior college tournament. In 2008-'09, he played at Evansville and led the Missouri Valley Conference in assists, averaging 4.9 per game, along with 6.3 points and 4.3 rebounds. "Williams, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, left Evansville to be closer to home. He has two years of eligibility remaining. "As a freshman this season, Cousin averaged 11.7 points, 4.4 assists, 2.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game. Cousin is from Anchorage, Alaska, and attended South Kent School in Connecticut. He is planning to go to a Division I school in the fall."

Here's a highlight reel of Cousin from high school:
Quick, great ballhandling skills, excellent court vision, terrific passer, decent outside shot. He loses a lot of size at 5'10" compared to players he'll be defending, but he has quick defensive hands, great speed, and the pass-first philosophy to make him a very good transition player. Looks to me like he can get a little too creative with his passing but he's got a pretty good upside if Jeter's just looking for a facilitator.

That's a pretty thorough analysis for someone you know nothing about Super King...

Nothing wrong with stating an opinion. Thanks for the links, Super King. Other schools interested in Cousin, based on a quick Goggle search, are Bradley, Wichita State, and Central Michigan.

That's a pretty thorough analysis for someone you know nothing about Super King... Except for that 8-minute video I just watched.

Adding two point guards would be great. The Panthers are also looking at some JUCO big men as well.

I didn't know Anthony Cousin's name. Nice video. Looks like we could have something here.

I would love to add 2 pg's. Especially one with 3 years of eligibility (Cousins). And if there winds up being the room to add a third I think Antwond Roshell would be a great addition to the teams front line not to mention he is a local kid. I could just imagine him, Hill and Carter. That would be an opposing set of big men.

Again, I don't think the staff is looking for a big for next year. Point guards and an athletic wing.

They must be looking to add a big, since they are recruiting two of them and I believe have offer out to one.

According to ESPN and Rivals, UWM has offered to a forward named Mike Rostampour, who ESPN grades at 83, which is higher than any grade for our current recruits, something I don't necessarily trust. (Both sites also report we've offered to 6'4" SG Cole Stefan, who gets a 90.)
Here's a vid of Rostampour (2:12), who somehow makes Quinton Gustavson look like James Eayrs:
Interesting side-note: Rostampour goes to Henry Sibley, which is the same high school that produced Mike Bruesewitz.

As far as Im aware...we are not actively recruiting Rostampour or Stefan. At one time we were, but to date, it seems our main targets are from the Junior College ranks...
