Panthers had zero dunks the whole season Hill dunked against Green Bay. I know for a fact that the following returning Panthers can dunk: Anthony Hill Lonnie Boga Ryan Haggerty Mitchell Carter Christian Wolf Riley Walker Tony Meier Michael Tyler It's not a question of inability to throw down, it's that Jeter doesn't preach dunking. I doubt we'll see many, if any, dunks from Kelm next year either way because of the safe offensive basketball that Rob Jeter teams utilize. Leek Leek, on the other hand, has free reign. That guy has Vinsanity levels of hops. I don't think you are right. If Hill had a dunk is was at Green Bay. Plus, the Panthers home game vs. CSU on 2-18, A.T. said the Panthers don't have a slam dunk. Anyways, the bigger picture is the slam dunk is good because it get the fans in the game. Give the team energy and the crowd energy.

Kyle's line: 26 minutes, 23 points, 10 of 13 FGs, 3 of 7 FTs, 11 rebounds, 6 (should have been at least 10) assists, 1 block, 2 turnovers, 0 fouls. 3 of 7 FTs ... Kelm is going to fit in perfectly on this team.

Kaylon would be an incredible addition... Every night I go to bed praying for a point guard like him

As soon as they start awarding three points for a dunk I'll care about how many we have in a game or a year. By the way, I don't think Iowa is smart enough to hire Jacobson, and I don't think Jacobson is dumb enough to take the job if offerred. +1 on both comments

In the couple times I've talked to Rank this past week, he has given me no indication he would de-commit if Jacobson left.

Found some Stats from this season at Kirkwood, his numbers are: 11.4 Points Per Game 34% from 3 67% from the FT line 4.5 Rebounds per game 7.3 Assists Per Game 1.8 Steals Per Game www.iccac.org/stat/2010/mbb/14I like the fact that he is a bigger Point Guard at 6'3". Plus He has already had good success in a league comparable to ours. He would be a great recruit. Any idea who else is looking at him? I looked on ESPN, Scout, and Rivals and they don't have anything on him as a JUCO.

From today's StarCourier.com:
BASKETBALL RECRUITING
Illinois coach Bruce Weber attended the NJCAA national tournament Thursday to watch Kaylon Williams, a 6-foot-2 sophomore point guard from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Illini assistant Jay Price returned to watch Friday.
Weber and his staff will keep their eyes open for late point guard options if Illini sophomore Demetri McCamey does the unexpected and decides to forego his final year of eligibility for professional basketball. Iowa had earlier shown interest in Williams, who played his freshman season at Evansville before leaving to be closer to home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Illinois maybe. But Iowa? That's a program that's lost its way.

Kaygee's link makes it sound like Iowa is his main target, especially being from Iowa, which is close to his home (The initial reason he left Evansville)
