Might as well start a thread for the game tomorrow. Well it's going to be tough and even though the line isn't out yet, based on the fact that UWM only has won 1 game on the road and Butler is just destroying conference opponents at home, Milwaukee has to be about an 18 point underdog. Hopefully the boys can put together a game and pull the upset. Playing good D and contesting 3 point shots will be the difference in weather or not UWM has a change to win the game. I would like to see the Panthers stop Green and get him into foul trouble, but that will be tougher done than said. The refs didn't call him for pushing off with his off arm in Milwaukee, they aren't going to call it at Butler. Here's to a good game. Tomorrow will be my first opportunity to hear the Butler Radio Announcer. I feel truly blessed to finally hear what a professional sounds like .

im picking butler on this one. 65-55.
if we come out the blocks fast we should be able to keep it close maybe even have a slight lead. but i cant see bu having as poor of a shooting night as they did in the first meeting, they were like 35% or somthing like that.

Have fun listening, I dont listen to our call much anymore, because Chris Denari left to become the TV Play by Play for the Pacers. Now, we have a guy that is from Butler, but he is a far cry from what we were used to with Denari.
I'd say he is very professional, but lacks in his game calling skills; too much like TV play by play, not enough description.
I'd like to know what you think of it - I'm sure its a much different experience (better) when you have video to go along with his call.

I can live with a loss against Butler as long as we see more inside action (getting the ball down low) and more dribble penetration. Butler will be tough. Guard play will be the key to our success and a major upset.

I'm hoping for a big game out of Paige today if the Panthers are going to compete. In the last three games, he played 39, 40 and 38 minutes, and it showed in the second half of the Cleveland State game. Paige's rebounding numbers were strong again in that game, but obviously 1 point isn't what we've come to expect from him. With four days between games, he should have fresh legs today.

If there is anything that gives us a chance today its that this is Butler's 4th game in 7 days. The key again will be to guard the 3 point line and contain Graves and Green the best we can. Butler is always tough at home so I have a hard time seeing us pulling the upset today. Maybe some fresh legs and time to prepare will help but in the end I just seeing our inept offense not being able to score enough against Butlers very solid defense.
Milwaukee 56 Butler 71

There seems to be so many more issues with this live feeds this year than last. Today so far is more like snapshots of the game than a stream.

Got it.
Four points in nearly 7 minutes won't get it done, guys. Gotta pick it up here.

I like how we're crashing the offensive boards early. Second-chance points will be big for us today.

Going from bad to worse. This team simply cannot have these scoring lapses to stay competitive w/ Butler.
