Should be a good game. This is definitively a winnable road game. I thought the offense was run very well for the first 30 minutes of the Loyola game, but Milwaukee still has lulls that kills them. I look for Paige to have a bounce back game and Messiah to keep playing at his high level. Unfortunately for Milwaukee, CSU shot lights out in the first half against GB, so they can fill it up. However, they also proceeded to score only 8 in the second half and looked lost against the press.
Milwaukee needs to press this game. Terry Evens was playing center field on the press and when GB would trap CSU at the half court by the sideline, the CSU player tried to throw it to a teammate between the circles every time. There was a sequence where that pass was picked off 3 times in a row by GB.

Good analysis Kingsbury! You should join Daron Sutton on the telecasts...
Does anyone know...will the games be able to be viewed through the Horizon League website?
My thoughts on the game are similar to yours...I'm sure that CSU has worked on the press-breaker since the UWGB debacle and knowing that UWM likes to press when possible, but I agree...the more UWM presses, the more chances for easy buckets.
The thing I've noticed that needs to be improved is shooting. I'm not talking about 15 foot + jumpshots...although that'd be nice. The thing that's killing them is those lulls when they just can't buy a bucket. And they tend to miss a lot of bunnies. Especially Paulsen.
If they can effectively score, then throw the press on CSU and increase chances of easy buckets...they'll be in a good position. As long as they can finish those easy buckets!
Another key will be someone stepping up as the defensive stopper to replace Charlie. Not that Charlie was a force defensively or anything, but he was/is quick as hell and had really quick hands that created a lot of loose balls/steals.
I've heard that the coaching staff is looking to Kaylan Anderson to step up on D...hopefully they can stick him on CSU's best perimeter player and he can step it up!
All in all, the Charlie injury is unfortunate, but it is also an excellent opportunity for someone to step up and make their mark. It sounds so cliche, but it's the truth.

UWM looking flat. I think this one is a loss unless they can turn it around. Jeter's substitutions suck as usual.

Sorry, just venting. But I don't seem to see a flow in substitution. I don't get it. UWM was doing a good job of getting points inside with Skinner and company. And Gentry was making good feeds to them. but jeter took out both players and went back to his 3 small guard line-up...which he loves. I don't get why Mauldin is not in the rotation.
but hey, they are coming back!

I have believed, and will continue to for the rest of this season, that we will see alot that will leave us scratching our heads. I think the only way we could possibly understand is if we were on the bench possibly. But hey..I am with you...TIE SCORE BABY!!! Also...Skinner is having a good game eh?

Just wondering, but did Big D leave his hands for Massiah to use this season?
Break out the jugs gun, please.
