I think there's a place for Paige Paulsen in the starting lineup, as long as he's not asked to be a post player. That would mean that Sam would have to start and should play significantly more minutes. Where would those minutes come from? Start with Big Shot Al. No way does he deserve 32-33 minutes after his performance to this point. I'm fine with Avery off the bench as something of an energizer. So let's start with Paige, Mauldin, Charlie, Ricky and either Skinner or Avery, depending on matchups. Massiah has been rock-solid in relief and Roman and Ryan need to get more opportunities to develop their games. I agree. Having a 'big' get significant minutes makes this team much better. From what I've seen so far, I think a Mauldin, Paulsen, Swiggett, Ricky and Skinner starting line-up would be interesting to watch for 2-3 games. Avo and Massiah off the bench. I think that Al will continue to get minutes and 2nd, 3rd, 4th chances b/c of his experience. Sooner or later though the other guys looking for his minutes will have some experience and then he better step it up.

Writers on the board seem have reached a consensus (although not everyone, I realize) that when Maulden is in, both Paulsen and Skinner are able to play a better game. II would have to agree. If most of us see this, is it inevitable that Jeter will also see it eventually -- or does he already, but is holding off? My worry is that Jeter, for some reason, will stick with his current starters. Does anyone have any insights on the probability of this?

I think Mauldin starting is a complete joke, and I'm not afraid to say it. Give him time, but not now. Please, not now. This quote looks like a joke #45 Sam Mauldin 9 points 8 rebounds I don't see how that is a funny first start!! Our student section is a joke!!
