Well, it's probably a good thing it's not on TV. But seriously, it will be more great preparation for the team to go into a big arena and play a very good team. We should be improved, although I doubt it will be reflected in the score. Lot of lessons learned this weekend, but as with any young team it will take time to absorb all of that. Michigan is very long and athletic. We will have immense trouble challenging Petway and Sims down low. They are both great shot blockers. Lester Abram is a great wing -- I assume Avery will need to guard him. Crisler is not usually a raucous environment.

No Crisler will probably not be very intimidating to Avery or Kevin but to everyone else who hasnt been in a big time arena it might have a wow factor for them. I am guessing however that it will be a rough game. Michigan is pretty long and athletic, more so than UAB

Going to get beat down, hardcore like. But it will be an experience that's for sure. I hope the guys can start meshing a little more...

Were gong to have to be hitting 70% from the field to win this game. Michy, is just to big up front and athletic for us to even be in the game. However, I agree that it's going to be a building block game for us to prepare us for the Horizon League regular season. I just hope that all these tough tests in the beginning of the year will pay dividends in the near future, and my optimistic side say's it will.

UM has a good team this year. Probably better than Michigan State (and after the Titans, I am a Spartan fan, that is where my dad went). Everyone dogged them last year, including me, despite making the NIT Championship game. They started out like gang busters and cooled off.
They can score though. Dion Harris, Abram, Coleman, Sims, Petway...they are very dangergous. Harris, Abram, and even Coleman can shoot the ball and Sims and Petway are very long and athletic. Be prepared for some throw downs from Petway...his nickname is "Air Georgia". All he does is dunk the ball.

Prediction:
Michigan 92 Milwaukee 50
Don't take this in any way, shape or form as me jumping ship. This last weekend went about as I thought it would, with the inexperience, lack of height and complete reliance on the outside shot really hurting us. I expect Michigan to exploit these even more and they are much better than any of the teams form this weekend. It's going to be ugly, unfortunately.

I don't think this will be "pretty" by any means. But I do think that the coaches, who confided much at yesterday's postgame, have made some decisions regarding playing time. Based upon conversations, I think it's safe to say that both Sam and Charlie will see significantly increased playing time. By the same token, I think you can conclude who will see much less. Hint: It's not Avery, Paige, Marcus or Ryan (Is that even possible?).

pnthr97, I'll one up you.
Michigan 100 (yes, seriously 100) Milwaukee 50
We cant defend, we cant score. Its going to be ugly folks. Yet, this is going to be healthy for our young players. Experience is all that matters this season. I want to see Swiggett get 10pts this game.
Also, I changed my overall W/L projection... its a 10 win season at best.

Prediction:
Michigan: 87 Milwaukee: 64
I fear this one is over by half just like the UAB game but I'll still have 920 on at home. I hope these tough early games dont take to much of a negative toll on this team. They are young and Jeter could lose them if they dont respond to the coaching.

Et tu, Freak? C'mon, it's not that bleak. There's still South Dakota State, Central Michigan, Tennessee Tech, Oakland and the entire Horizon League slate. I see 13 wins minimum here.
