looks like their coach just turned in his resignation the other day, effective at the end of the year. wonder how that will impact their team.
also, that's quite a difference between their two centers - one is 6'10" 192 and the other is 6'9" 304.

Hopefully we will get a good weekend of basketball and a good indication of what UWM will be like the rest of the season. They just need to get some games under the belt together.

They should, even thought it is a tournament format, it is still a regular season home game on the schedule.

So UWM IDs get you in all games even those not being played by UWM?

You guys will probably be favored, but it should be a close game.
In the past 3-4 years we've been a guard-orientated team, this is the first where we'll rely on our frontcourt.
Chris Oliver is one of the best mid-major fowards and he's complemented by a 6'3 Reggie McIntyre who plays like he's 6'10, 270 and 6'10 Duane Ricks who is faster than most guards we face.
Our backcourt is young and untested, but has soooooooo much potential. Amir Johnson is 5'9 and was one of the best recruits in the state of Pennsylvania before breaking his hand two years back. He's fully recovered and is a stud. He'll join either Kenny Thomas who was known for his scoring in HS (and was one of the top players in Richmond w/ Tyrese Rice of Boston College) or Martell McDuffy who isn't that much of a scoring threat but plays lock down defense.
Radford isn't a very good road team and much like you guys, very...very young. It should play out like an early season match-up: two teams unfamiliar with each other and sloppy basketball. Yet it should be a close game.

highlander - just wanted to say i'm sorry what your coach did. that's a total crap move. i could understand if he wanted one of his assistants to be named his successor immediately but this really puts your program in a real bind. how can you recruit? hopefully you guys find someone ASAP.

Panther-
I've never seen anything like it, until colorado's patton announced a few days later he's doing the same thing.
Byron is a real nice guy though and I wish him the best. I think our team will handle it well.
