I think if RJ wants to tell Nate Mannoy that he can have any position he wants, he'd do it in person not through friends.

I just heard this on the streets, don't take it as my word, but Jeter just signed the Duke and the Flying Leathernecks to a LOI.

Come on now 'holic...it's not very nice to poke fun...and Jimmy, don't just try to rip this guy to fit in w/ others, he was simply trying to relay some "gossip" that he heard on the streets. That really is what this board is about isn't it...that's why you should take everything with a grain of salt...when jg (nice initials) says "calling out to the streets"...i assume he means RJ was getting in contact with those closest to Nate. Why doesn't everyone thank the new member for his insightful information instead of pushing them away with insults?...

Phog is the Kansas Jayhawks message board. To understand what the guy is talking about, you need to read the board and the banter that involves Kansas, Illinois and Bill Self.

Holic was just trying to be nice. Moron is not an official language. Dumbass is one of the official languages of Illinois. Anyone that has been to Ramblermania knows that. GREAT comment man! If you ever come to Milwaukee for a game, let me know, I want to buy you a beer. Seriously, I mean that, look me up.

Holic,
You need to get a clue. Dozens of the people who started this board and the Krazies have stopped posting because of attitudes like your own. Get off your high horse for a minute and realize that maybe JG posts out of excitement, and just because it's different thatn what you write doesn't mean he's a moron.

I agree - no reason to rip a guy (or gal) for making a post. ESPECIALLY a new poster.
From what I have heard, we are making a very concerted effort to increase our recruiting presence in Chicago. I know the coaches are very serious about getting more top recruits from the City, and not just the surrounding area.

From what I have heard, we are making a very concerted effort to increase our recruiting presence in Chicago. I know the coaches are very serious about getting more top recruits from the City, and not just the surrounding area. Good luck with that...Chicago is so tough to recruit. All of the top talent is taken away by majors (usually out of state) and the next best talents are the ones that don't qualify (like Banks, Bailey, Williams, Poole, Jeffers) and usually end up at JUCO. Jimmy Collins is known for his recruiting connections, and he's pulled some nice recruits out of Chicago, but it's frustrating to see what's taken from the state. In the past couple years, it looks like JC has shifted his recruiting strategy to include less public league players (other than Jeffers who was originally a UIC recruit before he went off to JUCO in Cali). We've been burned a lot by academic issues, and your staff better heavily weigh whether they want to open that door. One day everything could be looking great. The next day, a Martell Bailey type player is out for the season, and it's rebuilding time.

I believe Jeter recruited Chris Hill and D Wade.
