Does anyone even care about marquette anymore? I sure as hell don't. That must be why you are commenting about a post on Marquette....because you sure as hell don't care. ;D |

1. I've actually been a marquette and wisconsin fan longer than I've been a UWM fan; I didn't start following UWM basketball until I started going there. It's kind of hard to root against a team that you like. Now marquette soccer on the other hand...
2. The marquette/uwm game is irrelevant, because in all likelihood it'll be a 4-1 or 3-1, and it's not worth it because the BC is really tough to play in... same goes for the series against the badgers. I'd rather see a 2-1 or 1-1 with a team from the MVC like creighton or WSU.
3. People argue constantly over who's better, UWM or marquette. They're 2 completely different programs, so that argument is dumb. Of course marquette is a better program, but UWM certainly has made more progress in the last 7 years IMO. Nevertheless, people argue constantly over this topic, talking about everything from academics to nicknames. Nothing ever changes.
That is why I'm sick of hearing about marquette vs. uwm and I don't care anymore.

that's one of the better posts on the mu vs. uwm issue that i've heard in awhile...opinion number 3 is my favorite
