Dont mean to stick my nose into things that may not be mine or anyones business, but what sort of non-salary concessions were made? Just wondering what things are being done to help the program. Also, that would be surprising to me if the buyout was raised to 1.5 M, but would make me happy if that was the case.

So anyone willing to wager on how much Jeter got? I think it's less than you think....but I do think that there were some other, non-salary concessions by Bud. I think it's going to strengthen our program significantly! Oh,I don't doubt that...but what could UWM offer none salary wise?

A non-salary concession would be wiping away the buyout, not increasing it.

A non-salary concession would be wiping away the buyout, not increasing it. I've only heard of it being increased and not being wiped out. Can anyone verify?

My guess is there is no change to his buyout provision, his salary has gone WAY up.
The non-salary things are probably related to recruiting budgets, practice conditions, facilities improvements, travel budgets, scheduling control, and reporting relationships.
But that is all a guess.
Jeter is now in full control, and reports only to Bud on certain things, and advises him regarding other decisions.

If the buyout remains that's good. If his salary was increased to 500k and the buyout is still three times his salary that would 1.5 million which may be where that rumor came from. If that's the case, there's no doubt he's staying here.

Under the terms of the previous contract, the liquidated damage was three times Rob's annual salary. There was no talk of re-writing, but rather extending, the existing contract. In short, it's believed that the buyout is now set at $1.5 million.
