Good observations on the zone O......I know if I was coaching against UWM I would zone it up - we don't exactly have a ton of "zone busters." Boo.......and..........maybe Hanson......and........

Glad to see Nick Hansen playing, but why all of a sudden? He hasn't seen more than 5 minutes of PT, in one game, all season. i have a feeling that Hansen has taken over Wimmer's spot in the rotation. can't imagine why

From what I hear, AT has the flu. That might account for the sluggishness.

Very true!
Boo's a great shooter when he just shoots and doesn't hesitate.
A. Hanson has been shooting better, hopefully he'll continue to improve on that.
Hill can knock down 3's on a fairly regular basis, but he seems to shoot them better off the dribble.
AT can hit open 3's, but wouldn't be considered a "zone buster."
They've got to figure out something soon...

I dont know why everyone says horizon league refs suck. They are the same refs that ref big 12, MVC, Big 10, and other midwestern conferences

The thing I love about Hill is that a lot of the time he is a sleeper on the court. He's big role is often in assists and then every once in awhile he'll just drive the ball all the way down the court and lay it in when nobody is expecting it. Same goes for dropping in a jumper or three here and there. Great quote by him too!

Same goes for dropping in a jumper or three here and there. Great quote by him too! You're dead on! He definitely lulls defenders to sleep and then, BAM!! The thing I'll miss most about Chris Hill is the fact that he's a one-man press breaker. If he's got his dribble, he'll get through the press/trap no matter what. I think he runs faster when he's dribbling than he does when he doesn't have the ball. What was his quote?

Quote from the Detroit Free Press article about the game "We didn't play with poise, and if you miss free throws and commit turnovers, you're not going to win whether you're playing at home or on the road," said Titans forward Chuck Bailey, who had 18 points and 12 rebounds for his fifth double-double. "We've got to learn to close games out when we have a lead. They fought back. They're a senior-dominated team and so are we, but we rattled under the pressure." www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060119/SPORTS08/601190601/1123/SPORTS

Thanks for the link, sport. Bobbi's article, although well-written, was missing a voice from the opposing team.

Did anyone watching the game on TV see the "group hug" around Jeter after the buzzer sounded?
A good sign, in terms of the team "buying into" Jeter's philosophy.
Couple that with Tucker being on the bench for the final 2 minutes, or whatever it was and it makes an interesting situation even more interesting.

You are overreacting about Joah
He fouled out which is why he was on the bench...Dont get all down on Joah because he is in a slump...He will snap out of it and will carry this team on his back when he does

What an awesome comeback!! I dunno if I can take all this excitement. As much as I hated losing to GB, losing two in a row would have been unbearable. I think this game proved the using the press more works in our favor, causes turnovers, points. And Big D, WOW. Not just the 10-10, but the presence in the middle. As for Wright State, couldn't we organize a bit of a "Black out" for that game with the students?? That would be cool
