Fellas - thanks.
I have read the speculation that the game time will be 2-4p. Anybody think we got a shot at some prime time action? Keeping my fingers crossed.

It's been obvious for almost a month. Good to hear its official. Lets take care of HL business. Then bring on Missouri State.

So apparently on the MVC board there are some peeps that feel the only matchups "worth a damn" are the UNI game and the Wichita St. game. Now, I'm not sure if I'm wrong or not but isn't UNI the only team in the MVC that has a higher RPI than UWM? I haven't checked RPI rankings lately so I could be wrong, but seriously...
Some are also predicting a 5-0 sweep in the BB?! Man this makes me want the game that much more.
Thoughts? Comments? Give me reading material because I'm bored at work.

UNI - 13 UWM - 21 Wichita St - 23 Southern Illinois - 24 Creighton - 26 Missouri St - 41 RPI is actually a horrible way of ranking teams IMO. I mean, it's 1/4 * your winning percentage, 1/2 * your average opponents' winning percentage, and 1/4 * your opponents' opponents' winning percentage. The reason the committee doesn't solely use RPI, and uses wins against top 50 teams, top 100 is because that's never considered in the RPI formula. Neither is how a team's playing lately, hence the last ten games used. Truth of the matter is, beating Memphis or Wisconsin would have done very little to help our RPI. It would have only upped our winning percentage a bit. (a bit more than a home win as they take into account where the wins/lossess occur) Overall, I think this is going to be a good, tough game. If they're basing their opinions on the UWGB televised game, I could probably understand them overlooking us. But they probably shouldn't. T

Very true, I agree with your post.
I hope the do overlook Milwaukee because I think the boys will show up to play for this one. Protect the house! They may go 4-1, they will not go 5-0.
