I was just looking at the schedule and saw that we play at UIC on Jan 5th. I called the ticket office, and they are having a bus, and its $20 for students, and that includes the game ticket. Sounds like the best deal in years. Who is planning on going?

No plans here so you can count me as one and I'll probably drag a friend or two along

I wonder, will the bus leave directly after the game, or will it wait for everyone...
The reason I ask is because I'd love to save gas money, but I want to do the press conference afterward...
If not, I'll just say "screw the press conference" and go anyway!

If not, I'll just say "screw the press conference" and go anyway! the bus usually leaves right away, there are many reasons for this that have ahppened in the past, but the main is just to make it back in a timely manner......so the busses usually don't stick around long enough for the press conferences......

That's fine with me, I doubt I'll use quotes for that game anyways, it won't be more than 3 paragraphs in the Post's welcome back issue.
Count me in to be on the bus. It'll be my first away game...well, away game going on a bus...so you guys will have to teach me the tools of the trade.

I'll be there. Is there a cutoff date when it comes to getting tickets for the bus?

No real cutoff date. I would imagine when the bus fills up, that would be it. I'm guessing around 55 people.
Anyone that wants to go should call the UWM ticket office at 229 5886.

Here's an email I got today, I guess I was wrong, UIC tix are 30.
Good Afternoon, We hope to see you all at tonight's game versus Oakland at 7pm.
We would like to make you aware of two upcoming road games in the beginning of January. The first being on Thursday, January 5th in Chicago at UIC. Game time is at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15. If you would like to take the bus, the cost is $30, which also includes your game ticket. The bus will leave the parking lot behind Merrill Hall on UWM's Campus at 4pm on Thursday and return immediately following the game.
The second road game is in Green Bay as the Panthers take on the Fighting Phoenix. This game is scheduled for Saturday, January 14th at 3pm at the Resch Center. Tickets are $20.
If you have any questions on any of these two games or would like to order tickets please call the ticket office at 414.229.5886.
Happy Holidays and Go Panthers!!

Just want to clarify one thing about the game at UW-Green Bay. The tickets are available through the UWM Ticket Office, but there is no bus going up there. The only two bus trips that are sponsored through the Athletic Department are UIC and Loyola.
