dipsh*t, i mean Collins had a great quote in that Indy Star article: "Better to learn them out here on the basketball court than to have to learn them in jail or in the ground,..." Because we all learn such valuable lessons AFTER we've died and have been buried.

Hi everyone, I am new to the board, but have been lurking and check it about once a day. I was wondering what the ticket availablity at the Pav is like? I haven't gotten tickets yet, and am wondering if I should be worried about it being sold out. Thanks

Thanks if you are in milw. then it is probably more affordable to take the bus, $30 for adults and $20 for students (ticket included). you can purchase them at the Ticket Office on UWM's campus (PM me if u don't know where that is). i don't know what tickets cost at the door but driving down there and finding parking will probably be a pain in itself. i highly doubt the game will be soldout as UIC's fanbase is as immense as Gallagher's fanbase so you shouldn't have a problem.

Parking isn't a problem in my eyes should you choose to drive down yourself. I have done so the past 2 years, and parked both times right next to the arena in either the ramp, or a 5 dollar lot on campus.

A plea to the masses:
I stopped by the ticket office today to get tickets for UIC.
They ran out of spots on the bus.
I was REALLY looking forward to writing a story about the continued rivalry between Jimmy Collins and UWM...
So, if something comes up, send me a message on here or reply.

Damn, I'll consider myself lucky. I called Wednesday afternoon around 1 pm and got in. Awesome to hear that it will be a full bus!

Trust me, UIC will not sell out the Pav unless it's a rock concert. Parking is readily available in the lot across the street, otherwise just do the EL. Last year I just bought my ticket at the door an it was $10 or $15, then just sat over in the UWM section. Working on making it again this year...

Thanks everyone for the assistance
As for the game, I am looking forward to a real bounceback game after Cleveland State. I'm thinking like 79-68 UWM, considering that is is on the road. Thoughts?

Be sure to wear your Sweet 16 clothing down to Chicago. It should make them jealous.

Jimmy Collins does not have anything against UWM as a school or program...It was more of a personal problem he had with Bruce Pearl...We wont open that can of worms though
