yeah i just saw that too. i hope folks don't blow this outa porportion, it's really not a big deal. how many of us celebrated with a frosty cold one? i sure as hell did (something had to calm my nerves)! i suppose the worst part is that they ruined bruce's suit, their clothes, and well the carpet i guess. i really don't think that there will be any suspensions, that would be ridiculous.

I agree, i don't think its a big deal. I just think Bruce had to come out against it. Im sure he dealt with it that night and probably will mention something tomorrow. They had a reason to celebrate, and everyone celebrates with Champagne!

thats exactly what I was thinking. what local newspaper would report such a thing about their local college basketball team unless they are trying to create something to deflate our teams successful season? ok, its not the NBA, but its also not high school.

who cares like its any big secret that college students at age 18 are drinking....manoyen can report it cause obviously it is a big deal at how the city and others might perceive us but those prudes should just see it as a celebration..

I'm sure this is how it happened ...
Someone saw the slideshow on the JS site yesterday ... called the paper or school to complain about it ... and Manoyan was probably fed the story. Notice the photographer contributed to the story at the end.
Manoyan is too lazy to investigate this. He probably would never visit the locker room because there isn't a buffet there.

I am going to be called a moron and told to lighten up but...
The players need to be more smart.
I didn't think the celebration was appriorate at the cell. This is not normal for college sports. Especially since beer and wine was not served at the tournment.
This was a dumb move.
Celebrate away from the venue.
I would take it out on them at practice. Be smart

No, I think you're right.
Is it a big deal? Not even close. But it just wasn't a smart thing to do because you know there are going to be those people who will make a big deal out of it.
I'm sure Bruce will do just that at practice.
