what a win!!! the team looked really good last night. and it truly was a team effort... if it wasn't ed it was boo, or AT, or joah, or derrick, or mark, or chris... everyone stepped up at some point and gave some productive time. that's hard to beat. you have to love the mental thoughness of this team. they don't get rattled, and they know when they need to step up. all those games against power schools are paying dividends right now. let's just hope we can keep it rolling and pick up a W in GB. this game can serparate us.
i'm very proud of what this team did last night. they deserved this win!

oh yeah... you could just send this game tape in for all the amazing plays... ed's dunk was simply amazing. the ally-oop was beautiful. joah's reverse put back was unreal. boo davis was just flying all around getting rebounds... what an effort.

What an awesome victory that was, even though Purdue has been struggleing this year it was a much better win then it would have been a loss. That dunk by McCants was insane and from what I hear Tigert had a great game also. I just wish I could have seen it that damn work thing is keeping me down. I did however catch the highlights on ESPN College game night ;D ;D that was great it was all UWM highlights. A big plus to the night had to be when I found out that Marquette got stomped by UL (although I kind of saw that one coming). can't wait for GB! see you all there.

Another point:
It could have been very easy for our guys to get frustrated and worked up over the officiating last night, but overall, they seemed to just "let it go".
IMO, that has always been a trademark of successful teams. Don't worry about the officials, just play your game. Great to see us doing that!

What a great trip. Scattered Panther fans around the Mackey. But a crowd of 11,278? Are you kidding me? It looked more like 6-7,000. Man, I have heard of bumping the numbers, but come on...if that place had 11,278, the Mackey must hold 22,000. Past posts have said, "What would happen if Ed and Joah played well on the same night?" Well,... what if the whole team played together on the same night? Ah yes, a win against a Big Ten team on their home court. We now have a better record in the Big Ten than Purdue

That had to be ticket sales ... plenty of no-shows to go around, but still that was a great atmosphere to watch a game in. Highlights of the game for me: - Pancratz's 3 to extend the lead late in the game.
- Ed's dunk and 3 to turn the flow of the game.
- The press ... and Boo's continued great play.
- Looking at the scoreboard to see five Panthers in double figures.
- James nearly giving me a heart attack on his "dunk" attempt ... and Joah's follow.
- Everything about Gene Keady ... his facial expressions, him trying to get the crowd fired up, etc. He will be missed. Too bad he doesn't have a better team to leave with.
- Bruce jokingly bantering with the Purdue student section when he put his jacket back on.
- Seeing Purdue fans just sitting there in silence well after the game ended, just staring at the court.
- Finally, pretty much sitting on the Panthers' bench. We could hear everything going on in the huddle. Despite not being able to see much at times due to the elevated court and players standing, you felt like you were a part of the game being down there.

Does anybody else think Ed's dunk was top 10 worthy on Sportscenter? YES.......but it was not included in teh SC that I saw at like 1:00 AM...... The crowd got instantly quiet after that dunk, and even more quiet after the following steal and 3 pointer.

I echo everything in this post.......all around great game and good time. And I am guessing that there were closer to 8,000 there - no where near the 11,200 reported. But nonetheless, a great environment.

I agree. Great place to watch a game. Maybe not soo great had we not won. I enjoy the fans who stand and clap with the school fight song. I wish I could see that at the Cell. (hopping off my soapbox now) I was singing the UWM fight song on the way to the car.
Had to be done.

Watched the game at home....No doubt one of the most important road wins in Panther history. Pnthr30; saw you and where you had your seats during one camera pass of the Panther bench......how did you wrangle such great seats? Can't imagine there being a better seat in the house! No question the men stepped up and played a good game. I don't think, however, they played a great game. While PU may be down and UWM is up right now, it's great to see the gap of the mid-major/Big Ten closing (exception: UW game....I think that was an "abominatio......errrrr, aberration!)

I missed the opening tip of the game, does anybody know why Sutton was not doing play by play?
