Long term, this game may not mean anything, but yet it may. If we win a majority of HL games and lose in the HL tournament the ncaa may look at this as a very bad loss. Hopefully we can win the hl tournament tho and get the free pass. Being a mid major that is really the only for sure way to get in.
Or else we can bring the swan back...its been far to long for this guy at least.

ohh man, if we can win just one out of kansas, purdue, manhattan, the swan will be back, yea your right though, by getting blown out it doesnt look very good, i mean, look at the conference tournament champions the past 4 or 5 years, not one of them were the number one seed, and 2 years ago butler made it as a at-large, so these games do mean something, we at least need to stay competetive in them, the people that pick the at large bids can give mid majors the benifit of the doubt if they at least stay close, because of being on the road and the home officiating, but we cant be losing by 30 and going on a 0-17 run at the end of the game, thats just unexceptable

We almost lose by 30, give up a huge run at the end, show a complete lack of heart, and ruin our chances to prove ourselves to the state. We choked straight up. I know this isnt the end of the line, but what can ya say. Hopefully we can turn it around but our schedule isnt lookin good for the next few games.

The one minorly good thing if it comes to the at large bid, is that the loss happened relatively early in the year. If we compete at KU, win at Manhattan and Purdue, win the bracket buster and finish #1 in season... That seems pretty respectable to me. A loss in the finals of the tourney shows it is a good team.
